Man what a tight wad... LOL... My method exactly, and works every time. Old stoner showed me the trick.. Wasted money on a damn amazon heat pad... Grrrr... Live and learn... Looking good so far, this one should be an epic way for me to spend some time this summer.... Thanks for your insight Stoney, I look forward to your happenings..
Green days as always...
We may have snagged it from the same stoner Madd
Nice mr stone. So your summer grow is finally starting. Whoop whoop:yahoo:
Man it's slow to warm this year! Hope it's a good thing! Kind of normal though. I'll put in sometime in the beginning of June.

Congrats on the seed drops and thank you for the Mobsta strain info, Stone. Sounds good.

You are May 12 too? That's awesome. Betcha I'm going to be older. Wanna trade ages? I mean for real, not just for the post.

Done. I'm 56 now and you're 61. :cheesygrinsmiley:

HG, how do you keep track of people's birthdays here? You're very good at that :green_heart:

Hi Mr Otter

Good luck with those seeds :)

I’ve never tried the paper towel method. I always put mine straight in dirt. It seems I am the only one who starts seeds this way lol. Before joining here I literally thought it was the only way to have a seed strike.

Damnit. I should have been happy at 56.

I honestly don't remember ever entering my date of birth for this site, but obviously I must have at sign up or something.

You win this round Hash Girl. Lmao. We're old, damnit.

So are you a mom? If you are, do your kids try and pull the "one gift to cover mom's birthday and Mother's Day" thing on you? Don't let them if they do. (if they exist, lol)

:rofl::rofl:

I'm on the MA NH border so yep. We can get away with a little earlier but the ground is cold and I just don't need that much plant.
As I thought, last time we were journaling in 2019 we were real close neighbors.. Not anywhere near there, damn it.. Miss NE but, love getting my plants in the ground anytime from here on out.. LOL..

That's a good way Tra, what could be better than the natural way? I just have better luck with my conditions doing it this way for now. Who knows, next grow might be something new.

No kidding, woulda been nice! Growers are like hens teeth out there. Some folks ask a question and I see half through answering they're glazed over. They just want to talk about weed, not really about growing it.

Here you go. I'm all abuzz over this light! This will be it's first grow. It's big sister, The Mega, that I run in the 4.5 x 4.5 grows like crazy! I expect the same form it. It's 2 feet from the canopy now and they see 600 PAR in the 3 x 3. The knob has a little more to turn up.

NextLight seem to perform VERY WELL! And ladies looking fab

Don't you love how the light just completely fills the 3x3? I get off on it every time I look at it. Honestly, I spend almost as much time gazing at the light as I do the plant! Lmao. I cranked mine to 100% today.

Thanks Verb! Now if I can get my soil to feed magnesium like it should I and they will be much happier even! I'm seeing the signs again and it's killing me to have to wait for them to dry out before I give them the cure of epson salts tomorrow.

Haha, she cranks! I have almost the whole floor covered this morning with pots! Every inch taken care of! Love that @NextLight team!

I had mine, the 420h LED one in 4x4 tent for a solid week before cops raided my house.
The board was set like 2ft above canopy at ~50% which gave +700ppfd all over the 4x4 area. It was a superb LED no doubt wish I’d still have it

PS don’t forget the glasses :laughtwo: Shit is bright as fuck

CANDIDA UPPOT UPDATE

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you're well today I am. I up potted the two beautiful Candidas today. I never know what's going to happen and today was no exception. The first went beautifully.
I calmed down and took a breath and laid it down for a water mist per @Amy Gardner and a sprinkling of myco. The mist really made it stick! Nice one!
This one worked out well that way. The second surprised me and kind of fell apart when I attempted to lay her down so in the hole she went asap. I top dressed with myco and watered it in well.
24 days old these Candidas are today.
I'm going to have to butter them up to get them in and out pretty soon!
Have a wondrous day! I'm serious! :high-five: :cheesygrinsmiley::love:
Funny thing, even after calming down to take the roots pic and spray and sprinkle the candida, I blew it and forgot to take a oic of the sprinkled roots! They were impressively treated! Next time I hope to share it with you!

Noticed it might be lacking Mg but some of the new growth had yellowish looking ”blades” - pH could be off which causes some micro nutrient deficienses also.

Thanks, it's true, wish I actually owned the glasses. Next grow. And yeah, glad you shared this, because as much as the light destroys a 3x3 I feel it would do equally well in a 4x4. In my opinion it doesn't get too small until you hit the 5x5 size. A truly remarkable little light.

Oh no! You got raided! Oh man I'm sorry to hear that Verb! Only a small problem I hope?

Nice job on the up potting! Good save on the one that didn't quite hold together. I think it's smart to up pot in that condition these days. I used to wait until the roots completely filled the pot, now I wait less so that the roots find the meld line to the existing line more like what they're already in if that makes sense. I think when you up pot a dense root ball that pops right out and you can swing like a baseball bat it looks great and all that and it is....but I am believing lately that when the roots are all compacted like that it takes a couple days for them to loosen up and start expanding, whereas doing when you did it they just keep on growing with no hitch. See what I mean?

Thanks Verb, since this is LOS ph doesn't come to play really I think. I have been using the wrong lime input in the mix and I just figured it out. Well I hope I did anyway. I'm using the new recipe with the Candidas. Let's hope for no mag def on them.

Definitely works in 4x4 from veg to flower - should cover the whole area. As the board itself was like 20x23" so the light should spread to the corners evenly.
