Sorry well manicured plants as well. Should have said that first, along with what I was thinking about that root system... MARVELOUS

Me too! I have a couple more varieties I want to run in the outdoor garden. I was thinking of dropping a few more tonight...or maybe tomorrow. Or next week. Since my procrastination got in the way this past weekend.I'm planting the summer seeds this week.
Ohhhh...I HATE caterpillars!!! They have ruined some incredible plants for me. A couple years ago, nearly every plant and every bud had one. Inconsistent usage of BT. Not nearly often or early enough. I'll be starting BT soon for the entire garden to hopefully keep the population in check from the start. I have seen more yellow jackets around and they have been hunting in the fruit trees for caterpillars already. I prefer not to have them around but they are incredible predators to have around the garden. They like the beneficial insects too though.bud tops started turning brown (caterpillars) and aphids were everywhere.
Ooh . . that is good to know. I have hornets nesting nearby.Great update on the uppot! They look super happy and that root ball was pretty. Nicely done Otter.

I have observed that if they are coming around, consistently, then they have found a food source. I keep my pest treatments to a minimum but I have to in order to ensure the populations of any one thing don't get unbalanced. I don't want the hornets to think this is a safe haven. I'll be doing a peppermint oil foliar spray tomorrow.Ooh . . that is good to know. I have hornets nesting nearby.
I forget music sometimes. It makes a difference!Cruise-in along. in the groove

Here you go. I'm all abuzz over this light! This will be it's first grow. It's big sister, The Mega, that I run in the 4.5 x 4.5 grows like crazy! I expect the same form it. It's 2 feet from the canopy now and they see 600 PAR in the 3 x 3. The knob has a little more to turn up.Hey Stoney, when you get a minute can I get a look at your lights. 24 hours since up pot so far so good. Those girls in the corner pockets look absolutely stellar, Stone! And the light looks like a perfect fit. I'm sure your bunch will love it!
That's so much Gand! I ran a 315 lec like yours. It grew good and it's full spectrum. These led's sip electricity the best I think for the buck.Nice light I'm going to look more in to LED I have one but I want to change all my lights. Where I live electric has gone up 40% this year!
Right!? How close to the canopy?Hi @StoneOtter -
Here's a post that shows very clearly the extent to which the 420h will crush your 3x3.
First, embarrassingly, I never knew these numbers existed on the dial of the dimmer until I saw your post. They're so light I never saw them.
So I went up to take a picture and see if mine had the numbers, which it did of course. But then I was able to see and reference for the first time how much output of this light I am using to have my plant in the upper 1200s ppfd. You won't believe this. I don't. But it's true. This is exactly where I have the light.
The mass at the top is about 8" from the light. That's getting around 1250. The next ring down around 1000 and the lowest big ring is averaging around 750-800. At 25%.24 hours since up pot so far so good.

I'm betting he threw the whiskey in the well! Great song, Stone! If you want to wake up a little. Slip your buds in and give this a try! Just some old time rock.
I've been listening to it for so long and I don't tire of it. There's so much to it, changing all the time, It even gets some intense clarinet play! I'm a big fan of off center things and this is one. It's extremely musical to me.I'm betting he through the whiskey in the well! Great song, Stone!
