That's brilliant, I really like that grill and bucket system. One it keeps the plants off the ground and two it allows for an easy feeding procedure. No fussing with letting them drip for 10 minutes. Excellent idea Zeetrees :thumb:

Thanks snid! My back has been out for two days from repotting the other night (hence the early transplant) so I had to come up with something. Taking them out every other day would have been grueling. I just bought precut shelving and rubber made bins from home depo. Took me 15 minutes and about 32 bucks but my back feels better already. Oh I used 3 different bins so I can remove them one at a time to empty without removing all the girls!

Hey Z, that's a great idea you had with the drain system. Don't really have the funds or supplies to build one this grow, but I'm definitely planning on building one for my next grow. Props to you for making it look effective and simple. Plus now you're getting more air to the bottom of the pot, meaning, better oxygen penetration to the roots. Seems legit. Lemme know how she works for you.

6 plants going all at the same time? Damn that's going to be a full tent. Are you concerned with your tent smells later in flower? That's one of my few worries. I love the smell of buds. But if the smell gets too strong, my apartment neighbors/landlord might discover what's going down. I have a carbon filter and I now have negative tent air pressure, but you never know when trying something new.

Keep up the savvy work. Looks great.

Hey man thanks it actually seems to be working well. My soil seems to be drying slightly faster as well. I actually have a few more as well but I'll be getting rid of of one or two. Three are in another tent. I actually have a house so I'm not really concerned with the smell but I also have carbon filters on each tent and they're in their own spot in my house locked away. Even with the negative pressure my tents stay between 78-83F Bc I use LED. I also plan on using a scrog so I used 6 plants thinking it will take less veg time for 6 plants to fill it then it would two or four. My other setup is a DWC with some autos in it. I'm going to do a little training on them but not much. I'll also be running another LED in there I actually may keep that to one plant in three it's a small tent. Waiting to see witch once takes off the best. Lol. That's where I'm at brother.

Hey Z. Glad to hear the drainage system works well. Sounds like good soil aeration. Nice. Jealous af that you have a whole house to grow in! No smell concerns and you have tons of grow space. I just have what I can fit in my 40"x40"x80" tent. For now. Hoping to move after this grow, somewhere with tons of space to expand and experiment and just go full ham. No half measures for my next grow. Need to get a perpetual going asap. It's hard having super over priced dispensaries where I live so my only other option is going without meds. Hopefully I can harvest enough to last me until my next grow. The wait is killer sometimes.

Should be quite the view after you throw in that ScrOG and hit flower! I've haven't grown autos yet. It's on my to-do list though. I'm interested with their faster growth rate/quicker harvest time compared to photoperiod cannabis plants. What Led are you using? I want to pick me up some later down the road but want to get opinions on brands first.

With your DWC, was it expensive to set up? Also, is it difficult to maintain? I hear dwc is more autopilot and get's faster growth than soil, but I also hear about things like root rot and algea that scare me a bit haha. How do you go about changing the water in your reservoir? Definitely want to do at least one hydro grow in my life. Looks great, keep it up!

Hey man I have a KIND300 in my small DWC tent and a KIND450 in my 2x4. I've been using them about 6 month now and I have nothing bad to say about it. My DWC wasn't to expensive to set up I got the whole kit in Amazon for 110 bucks. The meter I bought for it was more money then the set up. Lol and it's been pretty easy to maintain so far. Check it few times a week and adjust the water accordingly. That's pretty much it for now my plants are young. I have three in there but I'm only keeping 2 maybe even one. I'll defiantly be documenting everything on here I just haven't had much to show. All my girls are small, the one big one I have got pulled over and topped two days ago so she is just now starting to come back around. I've never grown autos before either man I'm excited. I just need this damn light to get here! I'll post some pictures this weekend!

So let me know what you guys think of this plant. I've never LST'd a plant like this. She got topped three days after she was bent all the way over. It's since been four days since anything but feeding. She's showing sings of new growth but does it take a few days for them to recover before they start the vertical growth?

Zee - Durban Relief & Fainting Goat - 2016

Also guys is a little bit of leaf curling ok? On one of my girls the outside edges of her leaves are curling upward not to crazy but they are. The LED company recommends starting at 3ft and lowering to 12-24 inches over one week. I left them at 3ft for a week and lowered to about 28 inches for a few days now im at 26 inches. Should I lower/raise the light? Really could use some insight on this guys I've been feeding very moderately being careful not to over water or feed and I also moved her to the very out skirt of the lights footprint incase it was too much light. Here is a picture.....

Ok here is an update for you guys. I finally got the new light in so my autos are now on their second week and under the KIND300 and my KIND450 is over my soil grow. The FG#1 now has 4 top shoots and plenty of new branches/growth developing. I topped the other fainting goats a little early Bc I would like to do it once more on each plant. I'm waiting another few days to top the durbans Bc they seem to be a few days behind. All of them look good. Have not done anything to the durbans the goats have all been topped and pulled over slightly. The one I was asking about seems to be getting worse but I'll keep an eye on here but all the rest look great! Oh and for anyone wondering that rack system my fabric pots are on drys my soil in just about a day and a half. Peace everyone have a great weekend!

Things are looking splendid Ztrees. For the lights, once I get my seedlings under the LEDs I usually leave them at 24" or so and let them grow into the light. They'll grow toward the light and become more resilient to it intensity with age. Keep up the good work, training look great!

Edit: did you get an answer to your scrog question yet?
