Ye Olde Organic Perpetual Garden by Cona

Really nice work!

Thanks Goshawk.....I do have to admit that these 2 plants did turn out really nice. I did some experiments stressing the main cola on 2 plants halfway through flower. It really increased the resin and the lower budsites just under the stress site really put on weight. I will take some pics and post them later today or tommorow. Pretty cool really. The trichromes just stacked like crazy...amost cant see the bracks for the resin.

Yeah, really nice fade on your plants too. I can tell the smoke will be smooth. I do a lot of bending
the stems back and forth to strengthen them in veg and the first few weeks of flower and then usually
stop so that's some interesting information. Is that similar to what you do to stress your plants?

Exactly. When I Scropp (Super Crop) my plants in veg I choose a node on the stem so that it causes another stock to shoot up. Im sure you know this Goshawk. I take the stem and squeeze it till it crushes then I roll it back&forth in my fingers to break down the fibres. Then I give it a twist once and let go. Usually it will fold over almost. Then after this is done I take string and tie down that stalk so its really low. This will cause the shorter thinner stalke to shoot up. Also this makes the nodes below the stress site shoot up makeing more colas. I almost always end up with 5 colas per plant.

When I did the stressing durring flower I took the largest cola and found a place between the buds to scropp. I did not do quite as damageing a scropp as when in veg.

The cola was about halfway through flower when I did this. The first lower buds that have their own branches look just like small colas....with stacked up flowers....if ya digg it.

Wassurp Cona? Those buds of yours are looking mad gorgeous. Two ::thumbs way up:: you never disappoint with the bud porn. I grew out moby dick a couple times now. Mines from GHS. They were all heavy feeding beasts covered with resin. My best crop of it I harvested at nine weeks and still think I should have let it go a week or two more. At week nine still had mostly clear/cloudy trichs. Made some butter out of the leaf and trim n its effects were so strong i was afraid of it lol and i say this cause i usually need a good bit of edibles to get me toasted. This butter helped me understand why some people refer to a marijuana buzz as psychedelic. I'm always excited to see others grow this strain. It's an all time favorite of mine. WWXHaze

HerbFarma...Killer news. My seed was also from Greenhouse. Thanks for the info...I will ammend the soil heavy with the supersoil to make sure they have all the fuel to make it 10 weeks. I always let my plants go AAALLLL the way till they are done. Usually about 10 -15% amber chromes but if they are still budding out hard I will let them go longer. Sometimes its that last week when they really put on weight. Those calaxes start to really swell and the buds get rock hard...well..you can just tell...she is spent.

Did you get a good amount of weed from the mobydick? I like to see at least 3-4 ounces in a 5 gallon pot with a 6 week veg.

Cona

Yeah I got about 7-7.5 oz from two plants in 4 gallon pots. I had vegged them for 8 weeks ( my first batch of moby dick btw) they were so heavy they leaned all the way to the floor n I had to tie them up permanently in my grow cab. I was using a 400w light with crf's in the soil and an ocean grow and bloom two part fert. I noticed one plant was a heavier feeder than d other. The heavier feeder was a more 50/50 hybrid as the other plant had very broad leaves but was very much more visibly frosty(possibly from the white widow heritage) it was white with crystals. Both plants had purple striping on the stems during veg. As the harvest drew near I began leaving the air conditioning on in the room during dark hours and the tips of the buds began to purple. I believe if I had d ac on that regimen for longer I might have gotten more of that distinct purple coloration. The buds were literally n I mean literally rock hard. I have yet to replicate this density on other grows with other strains. It was the first time me or any of my smoking buddies encountered nuggets that didn't compress when squeezed n believe me we were squeezing the s&$* out of em...

Cool. Sounds like I have chosen a good strain to boost my overall yealds. We need a little more as we keep running out b4 the others are done. The powerplant is pretty good producer. I just keep experimenting with strains to keep things intresting and some are really really killer but dont yeald a whole lot. I really like the Chocolope Ive been growing but the yealds were not enuff so I retired that one. The OG Kush cut 18 is incredible smoke and Im trying another few plants of that. Also the headband...hopefully I can find a good yealding mother that is acceptible quality.

Thanks for the info herbfarma....I will keep posting pics of my mobydick this grow. She is only 3 inches tall right now so I will wait to take pics.

Peace man

Here in the Legal state of Washington...Ohh yeaaa...

Heres a good question for all you compost tea brewers. Have you ever had those off white rubbery slimey growths that attatch to your airstones while you are brewing? I get them after 30 hours of brewing. I was guessing that they are some type of fungus from the orca that I add to my teas? I guess I must be doing something right if Im getting these...the aim here is to grow life in the ole bucket.

Nope, but I usually only brew mine for about 24hrs not that I think its best during that window just something I have read.
I also add my mycos at the very end because I heard unless it makes contact with the roots they just die off rapidly.

Have you done a compost tea tutorial on here yet? That would be awesome!

Nope and I just finished a batch for my vegging plants. Ok....next batch I will do a video tutorial or one with pics and post them here. I will be doing some pics tonight if I get time of my flowering plants. They are Blue Dream and Chernoble mostly and look to be the healthiest beasts I have grown. I meen Beasts...really showing off,,,soo sexy and just getting started really.

Awesome man I can't wait!!!

Merry Christmas everyone :cheer:

Well I still havent made a tea video yet as Ive been busy but did take some time to take a few pics today. Here are some new strains to my room. They are Sour Kush (reserve pravada), Pinapple Chunk..not sure what seed company it was right now... and Mobydick from Greenhouse seeds. I have done the 5 week veg and they are in supersoil and have had 1 microbial tea and have been inoculated with Orca soluable myco. They have been topped twice then tied back and supercropped. The Mobydick actually really responds well to both topping and supercropping and has actually 10 son to be tops. The Sour Kush also likes my bondage techniques as well and has lots of tops to flower.

Merry Christmas

I like how it gives back. Pretty quick to finish and not bad with 3.5 zips per plant average. 5 gallon pot with 6 weeks veg. The trim makes great hash and there is lots of it with crystals.

Merry Christmas everyone.
