A notice about one of our growing friends.

Well, Folks, I hate to
be the bringer of bad news..........However....one of our great growers has ended his grow and is hiding out for a while. He will be back when things have blown on by. I am talking about our wonderful friend Gittergreen. I will post this in his journal too. I know we will all pray for his safety and freedom. He is such a fine friend of us all. We wish you nothing but the best! Be looking for your return soon.

Sometimes you just can't trust your friends.

Just a fast kite Xlr, I see your babies are really cranking out the leafage. Looks like you got the flow/grow dialed in. I know soon theres going to be some pretty flower's blowing up. Well have a Great Holidays and Keepem Green

Your PE reminds me of my PE 1, it has a more floral/menthol taste and smell. :yummy: I prefer the punch my other PE though. It hits hard and on exhale has a strong fruity almost tropical tatse that seems to linger making me want to take another hit just for the taste.

I have 2 that I've been keeping as moms. One looks much more sativa with really thin fan leaf blades, and this one which is a bit more indica looking. The sativa looking one didn't fair well for some reason the first time I tried to flower it (just got outgrown quickly by the others), but this one seems to be growing vigorously. I may still try to flower the other one again, too. The tropical taste sounds good!

1. The blue product line seems to be flowing very slow while the drain line has a lot more action, is that normal? Looks about 2/3-1 ratio of drain to product and I have the eco-reducer in there.

Well, if your tap water has PPM's that low, you may not need an RO system at all. Mine is around 300ppm out of the tap last time I checked, so I like the RO system. Unless I'm missing something, you might just want to let your tap water off-gas for a day or so, and skip the filter. Sounds like you've got great water to begin with, unless you need to filter out chloramines or something.

As far as question 1, that's exactly right and normal. The black line (drain line) should be coming out much faster than the blue line. Unfortunately, RO filters aren't super efficient that way, although I think some of the newer ones are more so...

On question 2, unless the water or the containers are contaminated with soap or similar, it's probably just oxygen bubbles or something. I've never noticed any unusual bubbles or anything with my water, but air bubbles from pouring could be part of it I suppose. Sometimes air bubbles gather on the sides of the container, but are just normal from pouring.

You can get calibration solution for your PPM meter, that should help you understand whether it's reading correctly. Local hydroponics stores should have it - or online, etc. Maybe you have that already, but in case you aren't sure your meter is working correctly.
