Xbox's Monster Blue Dream - Grow #2 - 2011

Quick picture, lights off, Day 12 of Flowering. And that's just canopy, there's plenty of buds underneath it all too haha.

I think she's slowed down, shes at 40 inches right now. Ive upped the feed to 30ml / gal now, and theres been a ton of leaves fading to yellow on me, way to fast IMO, so i did 10ml Veg + 20ml Flower, i hope that stops the yellowing.

Dude, for stakes, i gotta go find something haha, all them branches are going to fall over lol. She's so big i cant move her out of that closet anymore, just a hassle haha.
 
hello xbox4 thanks for that info on the cfls. i saw your journal and happen to be smoking blue dream these days. nice plant. you'll get some serious buddage from that monster. looks nice and healthy. good luck.

Whats going on everybody, time for a little picture update. The big girl is at Day 16 of flowering, coming along very nicely. Starting to notice a few leaf burns which i get with the lights i use, but that's fine, no damage done there. A little depressing news is that lots of undergrowth leaves are turning yellow and falling right off. I presume it's because they don't receive light so the plant just sheds em off. Nute amount is at 30ml, but with her size im starting to think 40 might me a good idea, as i have not seen nute burns on new leaves. In addition, i think i might start adding my ghetto co2 set in sometime soon, maybe around day 30 flowering when the buds are actually developing on a large scale.

Have you considered a few 42W CFLs(or similar) placed around the lower half in like a square? Shouldn't raise temps too much and you could put 2700 lums on four different parts of your girl.

My girls are growing much faster since I swapped out half of my 23W bulbs with 42s. Just a suggestion :)

Its picture time, its day 21 flowering as of today, buds are getting fatter, top of canopy has nice dense buds, underneath is more fluffy light weight stuff, but its all good, lots of flowers everywhere.

As for extra lights, i don't have any more to put underneath, and that's fine i suppose, those bottom buds wont dense up as much as id like, but overall, hopefully the top ones will compensate for the loss of the lower ones.

It's funny, I'm looking at my girls and saying wow they are getting big then remember your girl and think, "holy crap, xbox's plant is gonna get casted for the sequel to 'Little Shop of Horrors'". ..."Feed me Seymour, feed me!" :rofl:

got a quick question,,, i've bought "blue dreams" at a dispensary, and it was killer, a hash taste.. and i've also bought a clone of "blue dream" from another dispensary,, and i've looked online at a medical strain site,, at the site it shows blue dream,, but it also shows blue dreams, but when you click on dreams it shows blackberry kush..... so does anyone know for sure,,, is there 2 different strains or did someone just add the "s"?
