Wood's Doghouse #1

Well I can say this, today my 'Jack the Ripper' showed sex. Poor Old Knot Head, well he didn't make the grade it seems. Tomorrow I'll make sure and then back in the green recycle bin with ya. Hope them people at the recycle places don't freak when They go thru my stuff. Heel I throw all my leaves and males in a bag and in the "Green" trash can. But on a better note,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, his 'sister' is alive and well. I trans planted her into a #5 smart pot till I figure what I'm going to do with her. A friend gave me some clones the other day. Suppose to be 2 kinds one is a 'Cheese' the other he said is called 'Star Trek'? Never heard of it myself. He got the clones mixed up and they look alot alike. He brang over like 10 or so. Nice clones, rooted straight in dirt in a coco pot. I love the pots, they are so flimsy that the roots have NO PROBLEM what so ever breaking thru. I wanna find them pots!!!!!! They are made of real long fibers and flimsy walls. Well I'll look some more for em.
Thrasher Thx. Ya hell's weather man said I'm thru with rain for a bit. But this is Portland Oregon. Well known for strange weather.
OH BTW Happy Father's Day For all you that have that title. I hope you burnt a big fatty up to your Head. Ill post pic's later. I had a Sensi Star seed crack, plus a Chronic, a King Tut, and a Warlock so far out of the 11 seed's I'm working with. Does anyone think fem seed's have a lower ratio than reg seeds???????????????????? Well all enjoy I shall return........ THX

Well here's a problem we all face once in awhile if we grow alot outside, hell even indoor. It's a root bound plant, that should've been dealt with acouple weeks ago. But being the lazy person I am, I tend to deal with it alot more often. Well a friend of mine who been growing abit longer than me, told me to always do this. First you take the root bound ball in hand;
rootbound1.JPG

Then take a sharp knife and score the sides up and down about a 1/4 to 1/2 a inch deep;
Fix.JPG

fixed2.JPG

Them myself I take the knife and work the tap root loose alittle so it has a chance to grow out.;
tap_root.JPG

Well I think it's a sound idea. And I do it alot being the lazy man I am. Naw but the plant in the pic was a Wonder Woman. She's a replacement for the one I had rot on the hoof. I lost 3 outta 4 I had going to this miserable weather we have had. Chewi, welllll seems she made it. She never started to flower. Thank God for small favors. Chewi is almost 8' if ya stretched her out. I'll post some more in abit. Hope everyone's garden is GREEN..................

Hi Wood I do it the same way. I cut it about 6 times vertically and it's worked real well. Learned that on my first grow. Had to, I screwed em all up
that first grow as you know!:):):):):):)
:grinjoint:

Well all this suck azz weather, Bout time a lighting bolt came down and told me the way......... Kind of;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Well the Skunk I had going showed alot of signs of the Bud Rot. And a act of god told me her future..... JK she split like cord wood. A fact here,,,, My Lady Miss J has a fire pit out back. We been using stems for fire wood... But anyways, the plant had too much bud to even think of hoping it will dry out. And they at 7' was alittle too tall to put in my 8' flower room. Well this weather is a fluke. First spring here even tho this is Oregon to have clouds and rain this far into summer. I'm not 100% sure but summer starts about know don't it????????? Well she is put out to pasture anyways. Really pissed me off to lose this one. But like I said I'm not going to dump another 25$ in soil to watch her rot. I do have others to replace her, not as 'BIG' but they can be bye winter..........Enjoy;
Bolt.JPG

and she had a trunk on her also...... Might burn for afew???????????? ;;;;;;
Stalk4.JPG

On the better side,,,,,,,,,, Chewi, being the haze back round it has, is a slower flowering plant. I hope she will finish bye end of season. But anyways I do have a 12' ceiling I can always drape a bag around for the last couple weeks. Even if she finishes late. Well I transplanted her into a little better than half a 50 gallon barrel. She took almost 4 cubic yards of soil. That's on top the @ 2 foot she was in already. Well here is Chewi.
Chewi_.JPG

Sorry for the pic quality. Anyone I mean Anyone, I'm wanting a GOOD Camera. One that is good for up close and personal. And to be able to take great pic's of the Alaskan Glaciers... Me and my woman, are going to book a cruise up there come May. Least thats the plan. Enjoy y'all And Stay Down with all your bad ass grows. There are tooo many grows going out there to even try to keep up with. Keepem green..............

THX AFL,,,,,,, seems it's abit better. Sun for the last 2 days. Alittle late for the plants I had, cept Chewi. And I have a NTL? whatever the name is. It was a freebie from KC Brains. She's pretty good sized, like 5'. Has small buds on her. But I think she has a good chance of shedding them with no problems. Bud's are small, time will tell. I just put her in a 12Gallon pot. Hopefully, she'll graduate to a 25 Gallon one. I just looked, called TNR. Oh well shes a beauty. I can see a future transplant to a 25 gallon pot???????????????????? Time will tell. Thx for peeking in and keepem green..........

Hi Wood Buddy, I feel for you. All your hard work being destroyed by no sun. It's got to change for the better soon. I know you were fired up about summer this year. It's starting to sound like a Germany summer. 2 months long.
I hope it changes for you and Ms J soon. Sending summer vibes to you! :cheertwo:

Aint that the truth wood. We havn't had a full day of sun here in weeks.. Mabe we will have a late summer. I know for me it would really help since Mine arn't even in the ground yet. Movin this week and hope to have a green house up quick, weather I buy the 24'x8'6'' kit by rion for 3300.00 or rebuild mine.

Happens, one thing I learned long ago, no sense crying over all the plants I've lost. It's much better to just plant another and get over it. Sad as it is...... I've learned mother nature can be cruel. Thx Lotz. It will be ok. Least I had room for back up's. Bud's same I hear ya. Maybe I bit off alittle more than I should've. I do have 4 4 footers out there yet to do. Poor Chewi, she's hanging in ok but her branches, I can see problems in the future. Her branches I don't think will support the weight of the bud's she can produce. I for see alot of tieing up with torn sheet material just like I do my tomatoes. Shes a monster. 40-50 bud sites per branch. OMM seems summer is here. THX GOD.........
Well was transplant day today. I plan on doing alittle smaller plants this flop over. I have 2 lemon skunks going into flower room soon. Here they are;
Lemon18.JPG

and her sister, both from seed stock;
Lemon_2.JPG

I also decided to try mango again, but alot smaller and inside this year. Last year was a flop with this strain in this area. Here they are. Both from seed stock;
Mango_21.JPG

I lost the pic of her sister, but all the same. I also started something called Shark's Breath. Heavy Indo look. Like old school shit,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Time will tell;
Shark_s_Breath.JPG

Also I have another heavy Indo, called Vantage. I'm impressed:
Vantage.JPG
Also all that 'High Te-ck' cloning going on,,,,,,,,,,,,,these are cut like 30 minutes after watering, placed in some very loose coco pots filled with 75% perlite and rest, black gold, dipped in vita grow, 'which they claim will root a pop cycle stick' and 2 weeks later,,,,, well you call it heres a shot of the clones;;;
clones52.JPG

And root's???????????????????? Well,,,,,,,,,,,
Clone_Roots1.JPG

Some of those clones are a unknown strain to me called start trek, others are blue cheese. Well all I can say is I hope all have there shit doing great and Green. Thx for looking in. Sorry I don't keep up with all that respond to me. Me and PC's are well Never mind. But Keep it green ya'lllllllllll.

She has sooooo many crystals my Ladie's hand was brown on this simple harvest. If we had acouple more we wood've done the finger hash thing. But, we'll anyways, anyone out there needs to clean their finger's up,,,, try cooking oil. Works like a charm Miss J say. Welll here she is all 14" of her. Looks like a solid

Church9.JPG

Also My Lady has been working on her own plant. It's Blue Hash Plant. The weed was great, just alittle to lanky for inside so I never really got a good plant off it. Besides it got contaminated when I did my seed experiment. But this one will be fine. It turned into a great little bush, she did a great job on her. Blue Hash;
Blue_Hash_Plant1.JPG

I also have a Jack the Ripper going outside;
