Wood's Doghouse #1

The Church, there is not much to say besides... Superb. I got the sativa dominant pheno this last time. Hands down, some of the best grass I have grown. The only real way to describe it is "clean"!

You can feel the Indica, but it is similar to Wappa(very nice too)! Light, but not the heavy couch lock that you might feel w/ a Kush. The Sativa aspect is my favorite. Very clear heady high. Not over done nor underdone. Just right with the mix!

I'll quite rambling now Norcal. Peace

Really nice description of the Church my friend...couldn't have said it better! :yummy:

Rambling is 100% OK on my thread. Fact I can't understand anyone unless they are.
Rain again,,,,,,,,,,, man. Weather been against me all year. Hey, I'm Glad you also enjoy Miss J 'aka Church''. Can't say enough about her. But most are fooled bye her cheaper price tag. I'd put her head up with most weeds. But she out produces most and is a hearty plant. And I can't tell ya what massive bud's she grows. Epically outside;
Church46.JPG

I mean she can get bigggggggggggggggggg.... Keepem Green.

wow,
what a beaut....have you ever tried bud factor x, or purple maxx....just starting trying them out....since you grow all kinds like we do, thought maybe you might have done that....
the way its going we may have to get another dehumidifier for the other house....stays around 65rh, and i like 50....yes, raining here also....we are just getting away from that storm that rolled in off the ocean....lots of wind and pouring rain....hellped the salmon out, but the rivers are real close to the roads now...we live on semi high ground in the middle of 3 rivers that converge father down....so dont like flooding...we really get trapped then...how is the pm doing, did you get the sulfer burner? did it help? L

I been using Purple max, gravity and ultra Storm and bushmasters. All good products. I tell ya bushmasters seem to work. Every indoor garden I feel should use it. Keep the stretch down and stacks the bud sites tight. GOOD stuff. I use it the first 2 watering into flowering. Just 5 mils per gallon.
Lav I use that dehumidifier at nite in the greenhouse. It gets up there out there. Up to 85% its crazy. Plants transpire alot at nite and that adds to the problem. Next year I'm getting one of those attic vent fans on a thermostat. It's a massive fan like 18". Should exchange the air in 1 min. That will help alot.
Never got the sulfur burner but the spray helped alot. Serenade. I wood recommend it to anyone as a first line of defense. Seemed to stop the spread.
Well we took down the Hash Plant. Lot of good bud on it. Bud rot claimed 5% and 1/3 of it is going into the hash box. I'm going to pick up a set of them screens pretty soon. I've been saving all the smaller buds and sugar leaves from the last year up. I got ALOT of it too.
Hey 77 it is a good plant. Tops real well. I myself top on the 3rd or 4th set of leaves them once more after acouple more sets then let her go. She makes nice main colas. Try to get as many tops as you can. She also clones easy and well once you grow it it will become a staple plant in your diet. Well got to go sweep up the leaves out back. Got one hella mess. I was going to take a pic and call it fall time at wood's doghouse but I'm outta battiers for the camera. oh well Thx /all for looking and Keepem Green

My topping technique is pretty much the say thing, I top at the 5th node( fifth leaving 4) , let all nodes get two nodes up, top on the 3rd node leaving two. I incorporated LST this year and it really does work. The light coverage really helped the smaller nodes become big ones. I've always wanted to do a trellis outside too.

I hope your greenhouse is doing well, I hate to hear bud rot stories, but grow long enough, you will encounter it. :skeptical:

Same thing 77. I say one thing you can over top. I know I've topped retooped andretopped again only to get tops that dead ended with the last topping. I made the mistake of topping to close to the same time as I flipped over to 12/12. The bud stopped rite at the las topping. Which leads me to saying don't put plants to flower to soon after topping. Givem at least acouple leaves sets before you flower..
Yes Janet did a great job. I did help with some toppings. When it was going 18/8 outside I topped it alot. But there was soo many tops to top. You wanna see a small bonsai tree? From this;

Well all in all she did produce. We kept over a LB of tops and filled a box with hash material. Believe me is some good material in our hash box. Well boxes. I plan on getting some hash bags in afew weeks. But thats a another story. Today I went and ordered another Mag XXL 6" hood, another 6' rail, and a 6" HO Can fan. I guess it's time to knock down the wall come April. I'm planing on running the whole room on flowering. I got some work for ya Billy, while I'm gone. JK I'll probably have it done by then but time will tell. Went fishing yesterday on a local river. Salmon are thick, but we only got one silver bout 10 lb's. Anyways was beautiful day and country so I can't complain I'm talking Janet into going for a hour tomorrow.
Seems I'm not alone with my 'bortytis' bud rot, pretty scary when you find out the dude from the store that gives you info on killing your problems lost 50% of his outdoor crop.
Plants here dropping like flies. My church is holding up strong. We start cutting on all my plants tomorrow. Church has 5-10% amber. Star Trek is there too. I had to take down my white widow as she had lost 50%. The hash plant lost 10%. I have a white Siberian that looks great. Blueberry is looking fine also. My sensi Star was hit maybe 40%. Star Trek I'll cut tomorrow but I hoping she'll only lose 20%. I'm growing a plant called Motivation, that seems to be fairing well. Warlock seemed to be one of the better also. I have 3 third dimensions going also all are younger plants that are couple weeks behind the rest. I know I have acouple others growing but I can't remember. These all were grown outside under shitty weather and the buds aren't all they could've been. But once more that church shined thru. Her's are the firmest buds of the lot. And the biggest, can I say heres too ya miss j. Oh well. We'll have a report in the near future. We have some serious trimming to do here. I see 3oz main buds on the church and alot of them. I hope all's outdoor stuff is coming in and had a better year than here. We got robbed of any sunshine there is this year. I bet sun only shone for 3 months here all year long. And I'll bet it rained on those days. JK Not..... I realize I'm lucky for being able to grow in a legal state. Any other's from Oregon, Measure 74 YES.................
If I was a greedy man I wood say no, but one thing I've always been for was legalization of marijuana..........................
This measure is for making open dispensaries in Oregon. They have 36,000 card holders here, and alot can't find the caregivers. I have a friend that showed me a list, not the names but, of people that need meds. It's a long one. One thing if this measure is pasted I can grow alot more plants than before. Like I don't have enough to do now. Here ordering that hood and rail for a addition on my flower room. I still haven't gotten a lite yet, I still wanna look into a 1500 watter. We'll see. Well everyone enjoy your evening and thanks for peeking in Keepem Green

I forgets things some times. I meant to post a pic of one of my White Siberian's clones I got in hydro. It started it's 12/12 today. All grown with GH nut's. Flora series. Some flora necter added in its regular feeding program. Also last nite I dosed her with Bushmasters 5 mils per gallon. In 3 days I'll change nut's again. and then get back with the regular weekly changes. Enjoy

yes, norcali,
you can top too much....from the reading here and other books, its something like 32 average, but ave. what? toppings? ive gone over that, tops, not sure....but the books said 32, seems like it might have been on irish's grow...
the rot got everyone here also....well, at least you did get a salmon...when in ak. we filled the freezer then i would can all but a few...good snacks....im a new great grand ma again...this ones a girl, phoenix....love the name...she looks like an indian...thats good....looks like my mom...but has my black eyes...
yes, i have seranade.....when i get to the store will have the guy show me how to make a burner, then if it hahaha, when it happens here again in the rain forest, i'll know how to tell peeps how to do it....sorry i didnt know....ignorance is not bliss....

so far all is fine here, but the darn bears on the waay to the river are a pain in the rear....have to carry a shotgun in the yard....yeah, i got bags and bags of the small buds in the freezer for hash, plus the good leaves....got to get it done....started putting all the finger sized in the hash bags....just keep the smaller ones there, and the larger ones for disp....
dont suppose they would like "foreign" next door bud in the disp. there...im sure it will pass....wa. is behind you all in that....well, take care and harvest well....it is alot of work....always something...but i do love it....we want to get a disp. lic. if they ever pass it here.....L

looking good dad you know ill help you with the flower room all im doing is waiting till April and ill be there. just save me some star trek to try it looks awesome. take care dad and keep it growing green

Hey Sprout! You do pretty good at this growing stuff! A frigging Pound on one plant Great! :cheertwo:

Sorry you have lost so much to rot. At least you grew enough to have some left!

So you bought some new toys....ahhh....power toys! Knowing you you'll have the whole thing done before your son gets there. :):)

If you do get that BIG light.....you'll have to fire proof your whole house. What a killer light! Dark Sun Glasses! Required!

You and Miss J are really going to be working this week, if your cutting the rest down. Wish I could help ya. :grinjoint:

Miss J.....now is the time to ask for what you want....or else! No trimming! :cheertwo:

Pop's I know it might seem strange but 5 lbers at real are common. I got a late start this year. Not that I want to sound like I'm complaining but I did lose my first string this year. I'm surely not bitching. We laid in a supply of meds for quite awhile. The church my guess so far is at around 2 lb's heres some the bud;
012237.JPG

Thats what we took down last nite. We still had alot on the plant. But bye removing that we can see the other;

Here's what the tops look like alittle clearer;
Church-5.JPG

I moved my 2 BlueBerries in the greenhouse incase of rain. They are loving this weather. Might even be a contestant for next years outdoor again;
Blueberry36.JPG

Me and Miss J have been trimming our azzez off. Startrek had to come up. She wasn't as mold resistant. We lost 20% of the plant. But it looks tasty and is covered in crystals bigtime. She doesn't feel sticky, she feels wet;
Startrek.JPG

All in all I'm happy we had that church out there. She got hit the least as far as rot. I'm going to sample some AMS from greenhouse over the winter. It's close to the church plant. My lemon skunk got totally skunked. Bud rot won that whole plant. It also hit a White Widow I had bad. 50% on that one. Sad thing was when it was the main tops. I still got Warlock rocking as well as some White Siberian both in full flower fixing to come out any day now. Well enjoy y'all and I hope everyone garden is green no matter how box or small. Growing is a love. If it was legal and everywhere, I'd still do it. Keepem Green

Thx J6. I make have going what alot think is alot, but it really isn't. I just play on the next field is all. 2 oz's 2 lob's, seems the same on alot of circles. That 2 lb's I got of my first church plant, may seem like alot, but I have alot invested in them few months. I hate to even say what the dirt bill was, + fert's................ well ya get the idea. They ain't free. Man has to tend them and care for them. Or you'll never get a crop in. You can wish and hope but all you'll get is some weak asss bud's. I know anyone whoever grew, will tell ya the same, it ain't that easy............................ I got 2 1/2 lb's off each Church I grew. And it wasn't easy. Had to watch the humitiy drop. Bud Rot form all around my plants. But fought back. And won. Hopefully 5 lb's off both. Good harvest. Least in my eyes. Keepem Green

wow, that is amazing...simply a great grow...wonderful job you all did...those pics are outstanding also....and i second that, "it isnt ez..." nope, being a bud farmer is quite hard really....and detailed, and demanding, in alot of ways...hugs to you both, L and hubby

Woods :lot-o-toke: to Wood :lot-o-toke: come in.............and hello Miss J :thanks:

If all you long time tokers (old folks with weed) like the Church so much, then it will go up to the top of my list of 'plants to be grown as soon as my wife forgets all about this last grow' What better barometer is there for info like this than straight from the mouths of professional tokers and growers!

I am always amazed at the size of your plants Wood, I know that they'd grow even taller if you didn't have a roof on that GHouse. Still they are the way they were meant to be grown nothing else needs to be said. Mine are puny compared to yours brother Wood. Very potent but still puny!

:peacetwo: to both of you.

Well my best guess is 8 foot. My greenhouse is 10X16. You can see shes 8 foot wide. The greenhouse is like 7'8" tall I think and it's up on cinder block and then I dug down about another 6-8". And I had to supercrop alot.......... You give a plant the room to grow a big root structure, and space and who knows how big they can get. I've had afew that were 10' solid. I was growing in a pole barn with a dirt floor back them. I lived in Ind. for abit and weed or hemp grows all over. I pulled up one once I thought I had something. She was a good 16' millons on small buds FULL of seeds and headaches. Wasn't worth smoking for sure but I couldn't pass up this oe. She was pretty. The ones in the corn fields grow just like corn tall and thin. This baby was on the edge of a pond and had elbow room. I had one called Chewi I had to take it down It was a headache waiting to happen. But out of all these plants one of which is Miss J's Blue Hash I got to harvest 2 of them weather been sorry all year. But this is what I lost back in end of July. ;
The_Kids.JPG

And thats what the dozer is for. Thx Keepem Green

Wow,so I was right...there trees! :ganjamon:
I have read that these plants can get very big and very tall...well atleast sativa strains,I thought I remember seeing a 20 foor tall tree before...I think it was black and white,lol..idk
I can just imagine the harvest from somthing even close to that size!
Prolly wouldent be to hard to spot from the air though,lol...
Again nice plants and pics!
