ive tryed with google chrome x 2, and IE x2, (pc and laptop) i dont think its the browser, since i have used both before and they worked fine. Ive tryed doing it with and without addons disabled.

I can upload 10 at a time without issue. It's a function of your available bandwidth in my opinion

We know other sites have other strategies and we ask that everyone use our gallery but we feel it's for good reason.

Isn't it annoying when your reading something and half the pictures are dead links or red x's etc. This won't happen here because the little bit of extra effort up front ensure permanent picture hosting. We're not at the mercy of the third party host or website that might want to move or delete pics.
