I'm going to take some time later today and go through one of my journals with Autos, my memory from those years is blank more than active. LOLLCF I keep to an 18/6 schedule because @Jon does and he really knows autos. I used to grow 24/0 but that was just wrong. I think I misread something another grower posted and got the wrong end of the stick with that, but Jon put me right.
have you still got festivities planned? I'm done for the year but I hear you on the seasonal stresses.
MAC#1 is my go to stress reliever, light hearted, pleasant tasting yum yum everyday.
might not be a auto after 8 weeks & still not flowering it just might be a photo period put it at 12/12 & it starts to flower then its a photo period, unless LC is in no rush just keep it at 18/6 & if not flowering by week 10 then def a photo periodOh that's interesting,so 12/12 does still have an effect on a auto huh ? I'm curious now what's the skinny on that?
I agree with holding off, and see what they do for the next week or so. I'm not in a real rush, curious at this point more than anything.might not be a auto after 8 weeks & still not flowering it just might be a photo period put it at 12/12 & it starts to flower then its a photo period, unless LC is in no rush just keep it at 18/6 & if not flowering by week 10 then def a photo period
if you're in no rush keep the lights at 18/6 & if not flowering by week 10 then i would say the seed got mixed for a photo periodThanks Con. I asked around about light schedules for Autos, and leaving them at 18/6 seemed to be what a lot of growers do. I think when I grew them before, I used a 12/12. I would have to look back at my Journals.
@Carmen Ray , how do you run the light schedules for yours?
The only sign I see on these two plants is that they are definitely female. LOL
They seem to be stretching a bit, and there are some pistils getting longer at the nodes, but that's about it.
Yeah, these two had a tough time with that overwatering era, along with the Royal Gorilla that is flowering up nice. Could be the reason for sure. Were they plants that had become water damaged as seedlings? If yes, that could be a reason they are delayed. If they are already showing pistils, then they are in preflower.
All 4 of my plants are getting a gallon every three days right now. They are drinking more, so I'm ready for that. I'm just filling the watering bases with a gallon along with a little top watering and watching the little float to know when they need water. It is working out great so far. Every now and then I have to tap on one of the floats, but that's no trouble for me.How much are you watering the royal creamatic? I ask because I have mine 1.5 gallons to runoff in the 7 gallon cloth pot, I know you have five gallons, and this morning it’s already light weight again. She’s been drinking faster and faster but today I’m in disbelief it’s dry again.
As far as autos go I don’t have a ton of experience but I think every now and then an auto will swing slightly photo. I wasn’t getting any flowering on the roayal creamatic and switched to 12/12 untill she started flowering and then went back to 18/6. If it was really a photo it would reveg so it was a risk I took by changing it back to 18/6, if she reverts she was getting chopped. But she hasn’t so I think it’s ok. I really think the 12/12 prompted her because the bubba started flowering at the same time within a day, after 12/12 for a week and half. The bubba brunch did reveg and got chopped but that was my own fault. If you just want to see what she does that’s awesome and would be interesting to see if she eventually flowers on 18/6.
Okay, I did do some topping, and training. Good to know.My super auto takes 10 —12 weeks to start to flower
Topping & training slows it down
I don't believe these are photos. I think, after all the comments today, that they slowed down due to the factors:Ahh ok that makes alot more sense, you did top n train a bit as well!! If they are photos that might be a real pain ? Do you have room to 12/12 if they are photos ? They look like they in a flower stretch phase to me already? Do auto have a stretching period that's shorter or different than photos. I think they looking good tho. They def growing too ! I really like the purple tan,a hand full of mine have some purpling from my lights,I forgot name of hormone? but it's a good one that's responsible for the purple coloring on buds,I guess some plants don't have it !! Like my runt Calliope ,all green lol I think snagging some photo beans in w your auto beans is a score !! I would be excited
That’s about what I am giving the other two I’m growing. And the sundae driver is actually taking longer to dry now than it was a week ago. Anyway I was just curious because I think it’s crazy this baby is drinking that much. Your plants are definitely looking great, whether they feel like going into flower or not yet.All 4 of my plants are getting a gallon every three days right now. They are drinking more, so I'm ready for that. I'm just filling the watering bases with a gallon along with a little top watering and watching the little float to know when they need water. It is working out great so far. Every now and then I have to tap on one of the floats, but that's no trouble for me.
I'm going to give these Goats another week, then decide what to do.
