So, my work is cut out for me today trying to carry those in with a broken toe and get the trough heater in the reservoir to melt them down. It's a real feel of 3 degrees F (-16 C.) right now. It's gonna have to wait a few hours. F'ing BRRRR.

Sounds like those are better conditions for making @Joe Brewster 's Winter hash than screwing around with frozen water!

Oh you mean for the grow ?! I was worried cuz I never worried about contaminates w worms before lol so a worm bin is a good idea then ?? No crazy pathogens will form 🤣

Sharing the cold, We can’t keep it all to our selfs
I managed to catch about 2 gals yesterday when the sun came out

Same here with the temps. I'm thinking of just going back to bed and sleeping today/tonight away, avoiding that cold out there. 😆

I've only had to have one snowplow on my drive so far, that is comforting. Really didn't need it, I have a 4x4, but for deliveries and such it was nice to be sure it was accessible.

I got two buckets in, and they are thawing now with the help of my little water heater for animal troughs. Love that thing, but it sure uses the electricity up.

It is mighty crunchy out there!

Don’t need as much friction to get them to break
Also get more of the tricohme stalks
The less you beat it up also equals less
plant matter

Nice I see,no I have not run thru it just yet,I will now tho,I remember being told about it when last discussed but There so much cool stuff on site. I overwhelmed myself first few weeks lol I watched every Convo and followed sponsee threads n my alerts was crazy 🤣 couldn't keep up so I been going thru in a slower more organized manner lol I must have forgot about it in the chaos but I'ma go looking now while I drink my 5th cup of Joe lol ty for the info bro🤙

The worms multiply in a healthy way n I would open root ball and pick them out or throw directly into compost. I think the bin makes it easier to collect but in the pots is also effective and easy. I live near the equator so it's a bit impossible to do that ice sift shyte. I bag my cuttings and put the bag in the freezer, like @Jon suggests. I just run mine over that fab gizmo from Amazon and done. That's all Jon uses to make his hash and he is seriously not struggling with a dearth.

Whoa a hash/ Keefe machine !! That's gotta be a pretty penny!!! How does that thing work I never seen one ?? The ant infestation is a issue. There is no way to kill only ants except for a virus. Idk the set up details but the only way to save worms is pick them out and rehouse or give the ant colony a virus that only effects ants. It's fairly cheap. I think you would need a walkin freezer to do it how is yanks do lolol.What's the name of the journal with pics of this auto hash/Keefe machine?

It's this one... it's ergonomic. You can of course make a diy model but the arm holes are the beez knees...

Anyone have a basic guide for pollinating for this grower who has discovered a male in with his girls.
I've done lots of pollinating, but I don't have a basic guide. It's spread out through a long journal.

I guess I will have look into the ploination thing. So I cant try and polinate 1 of the 5 plants I have then put them all together in my one tent ? Say try and polinate it outside away from the other plants and then bring it back in ? I'm guessing I cant . Do you think it was a male from the get go ?
