Hey brother Magoo! :passitleft:
Always looking impressive in the garden. You're growing high quality weed there without a doubt!
Ok I’ll spill. Building a bubble cloner and gonna try to clone a couple of these flowering girls, reveg the cuts and get clones from the reveg cuts. Once I get a good veg clone I’ll toss the reveg cuts and hopefully have a decent mom. Everything in that sentence is new to me so it could be interesting. Lol
Gonna try to keep some bonsai moms and look for a killer male out of the next few runs.
Exciting! I'll be sure to check it out.
Loving the pics Magoo, they're always a pleasure to look at. What camera do you use?
Hope all is well on your end :Namaste:

Thank you!
I just use my iPhone XS Max. I wish I had a camera capable of taking some high def macro pics but it’s just not in the budget. Lol

When I see some really great pics on IG I’ll try to see what kind of camera or lens they use......most of the ones that are my favorites are like $1600 or more for the lens. Crazy. But beautiful.

For macro - the lens is WAY more $$ than the high priced camera. Can do it budget but still cost of the latest greatest I-phone. Your camera pics are very very good.

I love how you pay attention to your back ground and how it brings out the plants beauty.

BTW - you rocking it Magoo. Make me wanna reach thru my screen with trimmers and take a test cut!

Here's a macro from a 35mm DSLR with a budget macro lens. That lens actually beats every Nicon lens I have, sadly.

Everytime I get a decent macro pic - I see a face in the flowers. This one reminded me of Predator movie when Predator took mask off. Yes I have been puffing. lol :passitleft:

Thanks a lot Bo!! And I can definitely see the predator in there. Lol :passitleft:

Here’s a shot of a few clones I took just to get this little experiment on the road. I know cloning in flower may not be optimal but it will be good practice for me since I’ve never taken cuttings. Tomorrow I’ll do a little write up on the cloner and how I did the cuttings and hopefully someone can tell me what I can do better.

Fun experiment!! Good luck lil clones! :cheer:
I think you want to take off the buds too, you don’t want any energy to go to anything other than new roots.
I tried to get to them this morning. Lol. Even as small as they are they are thick. I didn’t know what to cut so they look pretty mutilated with little pieces of bud here and there.
First thing that comes to mind is to add water.
Check
Looks awesome in here! You have some fire going.
Thanks a lot GT. Lovin that GG girl!

That’s all good! And as it grows out, it’ll get easier to pick the leftover bits out too. Nice work Magoo! :thumb:

Ahhhhhh! Curse words!

I've come to the conclusion that I'm either iNcompetent or an iDiot. LoL
I can't function with any device tha starts with "i"

Day 103
Flower Day 43

Black Cherry O’s

First off we have number 3. She is the smallest of the BCO’s. Becoming more fragrant. Rubbing the stems gives a smell of sweet cherry now, like a Cherry Jolly Rancher. That’s what I’ve been waiting for. She will get water tonight followed by a Growth Drench at the next feeding. Should be due for a Brix spray on Sunday. Here she is!

Black Cherry O’s
#2

Number 2 is turning out really nice too! She is getting the sweet cherry smell to her as well but not as pronounced yet. Size wise she’s right in the middle of these 3. Here she is!

And a couple little lowers with no flash.

Black Cherry O’s
#1

She is number 1!! This is the one I am trying to get the clone from. If it doesn’t work out then I know what I’m looking for the next time I run these. She’s massive compared to the others. As far as smell goes....completely different than anything I’ve smelt. Not as pronounced as the BCO3 but great in her own way. I’ve never smelt Dosidos before but I can describe this and maybe someone has had a similar experience. First word that pops in my mind is “clean”. There is a coolness to the inside of the nose almost like a menthol but without the smell of menthol. Some lemon in there but not prominent. Would be an outstanding smell coming from an essential oil diffuser. Would definitely bring about relaxation if you could keep it coming like that. I like it. I think I like the cherry smell of #3 the best but this one is unique and excellent in its own way. Here she is!

And here is a pic with #2 in front of #1 just so you guys can kinda get an idea of the size difference here.
