Who has experiences with 600W MH in Vegi?

Re: Who has expiriences with 600W MH in Vegi?

@tnoldon

You have no idea about how I will follow your grow ^^ Its still a tie between Lemon Skunk, Super Lemon Haze and Lemon (Lemon Widdow by Sjamaan) for my next grow! I got you on my radar!

@ UglyMuppet

Thx champ ^^

@ All

I will update here once a week. If I should do a "real" journal I will let you know ^^

So far I gave the plants some molasses with the Hesi Root complex yesterday and today. Wow, you really have to take care not to spill that molasses crap on your leaves. Once its dried you have to rub it off with a wet towel... I think I used too much (2 1/2 Spoons (big ones... not tea spoons) on 7L water). But they loved it and grow like hell... next pics on Sunday and you will be surprised ^^ 600W in veg is AWESOME!

Greetings from Germany to you all!

Hmmpf... a Journal.... never thought of that. Ill just drop some pics here every week if its ok :)

A journal need not be something that is updated several times per day with exhaustive descriptions of what goes on, you know. And it would remove a healthy ongoing grow from the Frequently Asked Questions forum, lol.

Whatever you decide, best of luck to you and your ladies. May you treat them well - and may they ultimately return the favor:grinjoint:.

If you DO decide to create a journal, please drop a link into this thread so that I may easily find it and subscribe. Kind of like to watch your progress.

Look at the pure awesomeness of the Mandala Satori and the GIB 600W MH. We are in week 4, the last week of veg (day 22/28).

Re: Who has expiriences with 600W MH in Vegi?

Its amazing how they grow. Composana Quality Potting Soil, Plagron Worm Manure (25%), Perlite about 1% (stop wasting precious soil in the pot by adding "dead" perlite, rather put some foamed clay (hydro Rockz) at the bottom of the pot to prevent pots standing in a puddle of salt water).

Nutes so far: Hesi Root Complex full dosage every watering, molasses (3 times so far this week) about 2 spoons per 1 1/2 gal (6,5l). Nothing else. pH is roughly kept between 6 min and 7 max using nitric acid by Canna.

temp: 28°C with lamp, 21°C without
hum: 55-65%
feeding: roughly 200ml for the biggest, 150 for the smallest every day, 1 time a week they get nothing to run dry and extend the roots. Leaves never hang, every day soil is one cm deep dried out, "dry" day comes when the plants cant suck up their feeding in one night. No foilar feeding, no spraying water, no real pests, yellow stickies hanging there getting 1-4 black flies a week, sometimes the earth gets moldy on top (white mold) but this is ignored until the real budding starts because the plants stand too close together for proper ventilation arround the stems now anyhow until the males show.

Flowering time is 10 weeks for the Satori (30X) and 8 weeks for the Speed Queen (7X). Ill let em ripe for 10 weeks both because I want a stronger cbd smoke out of the Speed Q. to supplement the strong sativa high of the Satori. 3 plants (all Satori) out of the 37 in the tent are complete failures. I keep them only for fun. 2 had pinched coteleydilongdinglidongschlongs (the first 2 round leaves) and are now like 1/4 of the normal satoris height. And the other one is a rare Satori mutation (satori being extremly "unhungry" regarding nutes) that cant take any nutes at all. Its still in germination soil and has a complete N shock since hatched and hasnt grown at all three weeks long.

Its fun ^^ but as you can imaginge watering takes a long time... 45 minutes at least...

Well but to cover 2,05sqm you will need alot of 55W T5... I mean alot (like 8X55W) and those you wanna probably have split in two reflectors.... heapo money. And with so many plants I think a single bulb is just much more practical.

Here is the grow journal for the 30X Satori and 4X Speed Queens:
