White Widow Halloween Grow With 315 Watt CMH Light Journal

Lookin bonza mate! Proper awesome work

I've had a bit of a mare but reckon I've pretty much turned it about

Was phing with coco to 5.2 (following feed chart) - I'd not read much about ph, just blindly following gold label feed chart ph guide

Inexperienced! I've learnt a lot

Thought i was burning em but after flush & starve, symptoms were getting worse

Did some emergency reading and turned out i had a serious case of ph lock

Remedied ph situation (running 5.8 now) but also had further deficiency issues - calmag supplement foliar feed plus using calmag to raise my background EC to 0.4 before i mix nutes

Background EC is 0.2 around here

Got some lovely tones of green coming thru with much better leaf formation now

Might b able to flip after weekend

Just letting em settle down a bit first now

Glad you're doing well Grebs mate

Nice journal Grebs. I learend alot sofar. Started yours in the begining just caught up to speed. Again you guys answered a binch of questions i have had. I wish you a hearty harvest.

I too am using a phantom cmh 315. I am running a 3' 7" x 3' 7" x 7'6" for veg and a 4x4x 7'6" for flower. I have them in solo cups workin on the 3rd set of leafs as we speek. Planted them on jan 2. Growing out some laughing Buddha and a couple of autoflowers.
Take a look at mine and see what you think.
Im on board for the rest of the ride

Keep up the nice work man

Thanks for checking out my journal! There is some pretty good info for new people in this journal. I'm really glad I did one. Keeps me from slacking off on the grow. Its not been hard so far but you definitely pay attention too the grow and try and learn from it. You hear that a lot and it never makes sense until you go through the grow yourself.
So far I cant complain about my light. Hopefully it produces. They say the 315 is great for a 3 by 3 area so if your flowering with the 315 in your bigger room you may wanna consider running 2 315s. And to be clear, they make a dbl ended model. Slowpuffer uses it. But I think he would agree that it would be better to have 2 315's instead of the 630.

They look perfet! You're killing it!

Heres the current rundown of these plants and how I'm feeding and general care given.

There in 4 fabric pots. 3 gallons each. These pots are more tall than wide. Would like to try shorter and wider ones some time for extra canopy room. But cant complain so far with the ones I have. Been feeding full strength nutrients (Week 6 Fox/Farms feed schedule) 2 straight times then just water with some cal/mag and silica.
Big Bloom 3 tsp
Grow big 2 tsp
Tiger Bloom 2 tsp
Cal/Mag 5 ml
Silica 5 ml
PHed to 6.5 always

Now I feed them each a half gallon every 3 days now. Sometimes every 4. I know that pretty much anything over a half gallon will start leaking out so when I feed them I just stop after a half gallon. Now when I water with just water and Cal/Mag and Silica I will overwater the pots. I don't know if this helps or not but it kinda gives me the security of not getting any lock outs.
When I say I feed these full strength I don't mean a tad over on anything except maybe Big Bloom. I make sure that I'm right on the money or a hair UNDER. Ive had minimum nute burn but know I'm sitting right one the edge. Could honestly got a tad lighter on all nutes and be just fine. I contribute being able to run close to max nutes to the overwatering on the off day.
The last few times watering I have been going through the bottom of each plant and picking off anything that may be dead which isn't much but there is a few that are yellowing prolly from lack of light due to the thick ass canopy. I do remove these. Some say that's a bad idea but so far I haven't seen anything wrong with doing it. Mind you I only pic yellow. not green yellowish. And not many at one time.
Also I have well water. the ppm's are in the low 300's I use half well water and half distilled per gallon.
This prolly isn't even necessary but things are going good and I'm not willing to change until this grow is complete. Maybe ill try just my well water on my clones.

absolutely agree !!

Few pics from today. Boy I hope they stack nice and give big nuggets. Yum. Cant wait to smoke my own. I almost feel free of the hassle that comes with buying in a state that isn't legal. Prolly be a better smoke as well.

On one clone !!

It's slowed down quite a bit. All is well in the tent. I had about 5 inches left to move the light up and still keep it about 18 inches from the canopy.
I don't see them growing much higher now. I'll try and get some pics of some bud formations when I pull them out for there feeding. So far so good tho.
That post you quoted was for the flowering plants.
Clones are on another feeding schedule lol.
