That looks more like light burn than nute burn to me.
 
When did you last move the light?
 
Is the burning happening on buds that are newly exposed to the light since you spread the tops?
 
The real question is how many watts does it draw from the wall when each or both switches are on. Wall watts is the standard measurement unless you have a light meter (I use a $35 LX1330B lux meter from Dr. Meter).
 
If your leaves are burning with both switches on then just go with bloom and see if the burning stops. The burned leaves won't recover but with any luck you won't get more.
 
There is no need to test nute runoff pH from any medium. It doesn't tell you anything about your grow.
 
Nutes and fine sediments come out in the wash... so its an inflated number anyway. What often happens is new growers will look at that number and say oh my gosh now I need to feed at lower/higher ph to correct it. So they keep chasing it and the more you adjust the further off you get..... This always steers you in the ditch.... don’t chase that rabbit

You've come a long way in a short time. Most of the stuff you hear from friends is stuff they heard from other friends. Guys like Shed have been on here a long time and have seen quite a bit. We may not be right every time but for the most part we can get you back on track. This is a great place to learn, but you have to be aware of what you absorb too.
