Ok, here's what happened with your grow. Things were hot at first and the plant showed that. Then you flushed and restored balance. But in that flushing process, you have removed too much potassium. The symptoms are clearly that of potassium deficiency.
I have been mulling over this all week, then decided to check the garden fert I use for my normal plants - that fert is Potassium Sulphate or Sulphate of Potash. This is what it said.
Deficiency symptoms first appear in the older leaves, by becoming a dull green clour. Yellow spots appear on leaf margins and tips. The spots expand causing these areas to 'scorch' and die.
I think now is the time to feed fish ferts and pump up thw sea tea for the extra potassium needed to recuperate.
Hope that helps.

I thought you knew they were nutrient deficient Moose. The light color green told this story awhile ago lol. You seem to forget that he transplanted to a medium with out ferts. Only reason why I did not want him to use nutes is because of his past and his heat issues.
The color change started about a week after the transplants and this is good, root developement was more important than photosynthesis(killed that word) changing light for usable energy. Heavy nutrients can seriously slow root develpoement, especially after a hot soil condition. Its a common problem I see too often during the germing stage. Germing normally takes 23 days or so before you can call it the veg stage, unfortunately the plants really suffered damage before he ever got past the seedling stage.
After his transplant to his Fox soil the green will come back and come back fast. There are enough nutrients already in this soil so adding ferts is not a good ideal in my opinian. Let him transplant first, this is a safer course of action. The fish soup can wait a lil longer, some steps should be taken one at a time, when you do to many steps at once and a problem occurs it makes you wonder which step cause this problem. Berry's biggest problems in the past has been nutes and overdiagnosis. He has the mentality that more is better so things should be kept as simple as possible to show him a easier way. Remember KISS (keep it simple stupid)
You are right Moose, but I think you forgot about the transplants and the transplant to come. Roots are showing through the bottom, lets transplant and start the adding ferts a week or two later.

patiently waiting

Yeah everyone, sorry for the delays...Halo 3 has been consuming most of my time right now, I pretty much got a 1 track mind right now. I am going to upload the pics that were taken on tuesday right now and then I will post them when they are approved. Peace ninjas.

Oh yeah for sure the ps2 rocks but but the day I got my reg. xbox i never touched the ps2 again. The 360 is a different story, and halo 3 online is absolutely incredible. They did it right, thats for sure. Im definately not neglecting the plants though, and they are looking fantastic. Going good from the transplant. But im back to halo, ill post pics soon. :allgood:

Ok guys, break from Halo time, ill give you some pics to look at.

These 2 pics are #1(on top) and #4 on the bottom. They are really the only ones that are getting side branches cause the others leaves were damaged. Its lookin like when I flower they will turn into one central cola plants if female. Flowering should be happening soon. Thats it for now, enjoy.

The new growth is gorgeous. Still a bit of burn, though. Maybe I missed it, but whats your soil pH?

Thanks greenhand and bs420. Things are looking great now...Most of them are a foot now, you can really tell that they are well into the veg stage. There is no current burning happening, all the new growth looks good. I just watered them with their first grow big watering, and I am going to start flowering tomorrow. Im so excited. I still got the 2 blueberrys in there with them so I can make them seeds!!

BTW, just checked the pH on 4 of the plants and they were all right around 6.6.

And another question, when should I start giving the flowering nutes? Middle of second week?

True. So at the first signs of sex. Well this is the second day of flowering and I believe I can already tell which are going to be male or female. Im gonna take a guess and see if I am right after I wait another week or 2. I took day one pictures and heights yesterday and they are approved so I will share. I watered the plants on Sunday with 1 tsp Grow Big per gallon. The next watering I will just give no nutes to prepare for the flowering nutes that I will give the 3rd watering. Does this sound like a good idea. I have been avoiding the sea tea till flowering just to keep things simple...when should I start using it and how much?

So, if those guesses stand, I will have 4/10 females. I was expecting less than 50% since they have been so stressed, so I will take 4. I have the 2 blueberry clones in as well. Ill try to get some detailed pics of the early pistils that I think I am seeing. :allgood:.

When a plant from seed grows to full maturity normally 2 months you can normally spot the males and females from the preflowers before sexing your plants in the flower stage.

their looking good a lot better, still getting use to their enviorment maybe ?.I have my theory of spoting males and females before they flower or pre-flower, the female leaves are fatter/wider than males, males are skinny and long.Say your growing sativa, from all the plants you see, the fatter leaves are the females, and skinny long ones are males thats my theory might be wrong.

motivation has a point i noticed that on my last grow also...but your leaves are looking alot better than before..might wanna get a co2 setup might help bring in some fatter buds and faster growth...

I have thought about co2 but I think that my closet is too hot and too ventilated for that, probably a lost cause. Hopefully the room is vented enough to supply emough fresh air.

I am glad to say that things are really picking up...i know I keep saying that but they just keep looking healthier and healthier. I just cut down three of the males, #'s 2,6, and 7...the other 2, #'s 8 and 9 will be used for making seeds with one of the blueberrys. I took a few pics and they are waiting approval so I will probably post them when I get off work later.

I took height measurements of the remaining plants...they are as follows:
1. F, 13 in.
3. F, 16 1/2 in.
4. F, 15 in.
5. F, 15 1/2 in.
8. M, 13 1/2 in.
9. M, 14 1/2 in.
10. F, 15 in.

Today I am at day 5 of flowering. I gave a water of grow big 6 days ago. The soil is still moist so I will water again probably on sunday. Should I give the bloom ferts right away or give one watering of plain water before I start the flowering nutes?? :hmmmm: I was planning on going the way of plain water first then the first flowering nute dose, but I was going to give a couple of foliar feeds of the FF Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom mixed until I water with the actual nutes.

Things are getting exciting, the next couple weeks is when everything good starts happening. Please give input, its all appreciated. Peace out for now guys. :allgood:
