White Cookies - Drip Irrigation - DIY Citi Cobs - SCROG

So last update was Jan 31st so things are coming along.

I had a week away and drip work fantastic.

My wife checks ph before work at 8am and water comes on at 9am - all good.

After the first grow I'm super stoked how pretty they looked upon getting home.

Light is now pushing 300 watts and to encourage stretch I'm at 36-40"

Seemed to have growth coming from everywhere. Never seen anything like it.

Don't know if I will top again as these suckers are lush.

300 watts of 3500k - think 3000k would of been nice for a bit more stretch - we will see as results will be final factor.

The pk has small spots again. I'm ignoring as I think she's just high maintenance due to her name.

All in all I am happy and they are looking good.

I'm at 50 days since veg started but only 2 weeks or so under real light.

Once my quantum boards are setup for veg I'll be jumping pretty much right to flower.

She is crazy bright.

I plan on putting in frame and finishing construction of the cabinet tonight.

I am waiting potentiometers to run and complete it as full power is way too much with these boards.

Haha, man those babies are at 200lm/W at 25W these are very efficient things. I will try to get my hands on those chips as those can serve well as side bars and small lights to put next to a nugs. Like 20ish chips together. Lovely.

If you want to try something new or you are interested in efficient irrigation. I'm just successfully testing the concept of olla irrigation system. I'm curious how it would perform under brighter light. It makes the plant super hungry for sun during veg, I got not enough :) I got link in my signature, you can pop in and look at some pics for yourself. The leaves are just growing to monster sizes, I got her under 100W blurple COB very close. And she still grows leaves like she needs more. Maybe genetics maybe one of the best irrigation methods there is. Thank you for your time man, appreciated.

Just a simple terrcotta vase in soil. Fill with water, let her drink some. I've notices that she drinks in waves, it is 2 days full and then bam, almost empty. You cannot over-water with it.

My mom used to do this in the raised bed garden.

Worked great.

Not sure I have big enough pots but would be worth trying next time.

Ya these boards are super effecient and can also pump some serious light.

I am going to change my drip system a bit.

The manifold works but even with each length height and wraps I have uneven water. I even tried removing drippers - which I actually preferred.

I plan on getting 1 T fitting and 4 90degree elbows. All 1/2"

Then I can Pierce the tubing and run 1/4" lines off of the square of tubing that will outline the footprint of my tent.

This should equalize pressure I hope.

What model is that board? I would like to buy one myself. Maybe for 2 of the walls for under the canopy. Voltage/Amps?

I am using them for Veg so although I have 2 drivers I will start with one and boards in series.

Ladies are filling out nicely.

Would still like a bit more stretch though.

Today is feeding day as well as some LST to catch the lower branches up.

Will be flipping scrog down soon and filling that baby in.

Will be much nicer when plants go straight from quantum to flower tent.

Need to bump up CalMag I think

Love the hassle free feed.

Run pump 25mins and done.

I leave water in tray to bring up humidity.

The ball contains 8 packs of eggs I think they are.

Moisten and they hatch and destroy the annoying little Flys.

Will update on effectiveness.

Nice, you can try some mineral water. Let it sit for a while. Depending on the brand they can be from 6,0 to 6,5 PH. But I haven't tested them all. Looking lovely, cheers! :Love: :thumb: :Namaste:
 
Well things are coming along nicely.

The growth has really taken off since raising the LED height.

They seem to grow quicker and get more stretch.

I'm going to try keeping my light a max height for most of this grow too experiment.

Won't be long until I drop my scrog net.

Quantum Board is now over my garden/Flower bed early starters.

This was how I justified the purchase.

We will save hundreds on flowers if I can start inside then move to the greenhouse in April.

Soon they will have a Crop King Crown Royale mother under them.

Only running 50 watts total

Be fun way to test height and wattage as well.

Any luck and my daughter will be first kid in Saskatchewan eating fresh cherry tomatoes.

Drip is a simple submersible pump connected to 1/2 pvc in a 50l Rubbermaid tub.

The 1/2" tube runs too a rainbird manifold. I had drip emitters that were junk so right now 1/4 inch tube runs from the manifold to each pot.

It does water even enough so I am going to look feed line back too itself and run the 1/4" right off the main feed line.

This should equalize.

I run 25mins and get about 1 litre of run off.

I have detailed pics in my purple kush journal.
