A couple of replies...
White widow is originally bred from a brazilian sativa and an indica from India as an F1 hybrid. At this point, lots of breeders have produced true breeding lines of White Widow. The process of going from an F1 hybrid to breeding stock allows the breeder to favor either the indica side, the sativa side, or to keep them balanced. There are lots of strains that call themselves White Widow because they started from a Brazilian Sativa and a South Indian Indica.
It is relatively trivial for a breeder to favor one side or the other when breeding what was originally an F1 hybrid and is now (pretty much) a set of stabilized strains. The seed bank that I purchased my White Widow from favored the sativa side just slightly - so they end up at a 60/40 mix.
So what you see and experience as an indica strain... I see and experience as something with a nice sativa kick.
