Hey all - hope everyone is having a great week. I have a n00b question, but have read a variety of answers online and am not sure how to proceed.
I have 1 Northern Lights auto that was germinated April 15th. Due to a comedy of errors because this is my first grow, I'm happy to report that at day 66 I have a very healthy plant that is getting near finishing. However, I have to head out of town in mid-July for 3 weeks (for work) and don't know when to start my flush. At this point, I only have about 10-15% of pistils starting to change colors/curl in, and am growing in a 5 gallon hydro environment using the Flora series nutrients.
My question is if I have a drop-dead date of July 10th to chop and let dry/start curing for a week, should I begin flushing next week? Do I have to do a 2-week flush, or can I use 1 week and be okay? I have a bottle of GH FloraKleen which suggests that I only need a couple/few days of flush, but I really don't like odd tastes in my buds. Are there any things I can do to maximize my yield at this late stage within the short time frame I have left?
Thanks in advance!
