Where are all my MA growers at?

New MA grower here seeing what's good. May as well join in on the plant porn haha. About a month into my first grow from seed.

Should be promising. I only get really nice bud. So the 6 seeds I have growing are likely from really nice genetics. I'm really stoked to see end results. Going to keep a mother and begin the perpetual cloning. Slowly but surely I'll get there. Just using natural sunlight and when unavailable sun for an 18hr daylight period, I have cfls, one fluorescent up high and led bulbs. So far I'm seeing pretty smooth process. Keep around. I'm definately committed to success and gaining some experience with indoor growing, in particular; perpetual.

Welcome Hydro Jay!

Newbie here too! Setting up my hydro Ebb&Flow as I type, or sort of...

Ordered an RODI for the 55 gal reservoir, may get another 55 gal for backup, so it's ready to go when I need to clean out every other week or so.

I'm greatly impressed with this site, too. Everyone is helpful, good suggestions, some really excellent long time growers with pearls of wisdom so generously shared.

How did you start your seeds? What brand are you using for your nutrients? So much to learn!

Where are you in MA? I'm up on the MA/NH line!

Hi Need2Succeed,
Where did you get your seeds? I'm still trying to decide on medical CBD seed with roughly 1:1 or 1:2 THC to CBD. Sounds like you received some nice seed.

I keep looking at everyone's pics, very jelly! I'm still setting up my first grow, so am way behind everyone. Will get there!

I need perpetual, too!

Bag seeds; because flowering buds are best smoked when broken up by hand and the calyx's are smoked only. In doing so, I've discovered seeds from some various strains I've had over the years. These are last of 15 or so seeds I've found amongst this process. About to post updated pics here after this post. I'd suggest Herbies seeds online. I've been told great things about this business being an upcoming in the quality seed sales. Freebies and legit from review of someone I work with. I'm very much a newbie. But I'm interested in learning as best I can. One successful 4 plant growth totalling like 2.5 Oz on all 4 was only grow I had completed which had started indoor and had finished outdoor. One of the best bud I've ever ever had was my own grown. Without any biased. So I'm interested for mysteries that are ahead been being awaited on. PATIENCE. Possible mother plant. And other plants are following gestures.
 
Have or any of my fellow Massholes been at the point where they have harvested well past their family needs with 6 plants still to harvest and don't want to do illegal stuff like sell it but just can't afford to grow it indoors as a hobby? Growing it is really relaxing for me....I love it! Getting the power bills sort of suck + spending $2000-$3000 on lights, tents, nutes, soil and suck if they just sit around for a year or so until we run out of herb to smoke.

I'm debating on getting a small tent and growing just a plant or two under one light to keep my "hobby" going...thoughts?

The simple answer is to keep growing, and process any excess into easily storable, strain specific bubble hash-Which has numerous interesting uses for the inventive individual.
 
Run a small tent couple plants , couple clones and keep flipping so you don't run out , that's what I'm doing , might go up to a bigger light maybe a cmh this round , but it's keeping me busy and out of trouble , plus you can really master some training techniques with 2 plants

I can't recommend Seedsman enough. I have ordered from them 4 times and they are awesome. They are the cheapest I have found, sell a lot of singles from some breeders, and give a lot of freebies if you do certain things. Give them a try. Feel free to ask questions on any of the strains you are considering.
 
I have a 5x10 tent that I split in two. Both sides 12/12 with a one hour overlap in the morning so I can get any watering done. Then I have a closet that I veg in. As things finish I pull them out and put a new clone in. You could harvest once a week if you timed it right. But that's way too much work for a hobby
