What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Ok. I have to share.
So canna smoking story. From back when I was a kid. Me-self and my 2 bests like to go fish and have a doobie. So only one of us has a car( not me). And he likes to make things interesting. So he makes a rule. No one can smoke until the first fish is caught. And that person can light it and take three hits before passing. Or some donkeyshite. So as you might guess. No one catches for a while then the rule changes like 'ok smoke just one'. By the time an hour passes we are all like who needs rules roll another one.
Such good times going fishing. (We did mostly salt water from docks)(summertime bluefish)
:)

Thank you all for comments or just popping in. Yields on the last 2 harvests got a bit better. Fx 4 was harvested May 14 at 61 days and I jarred up 55.6 grams. Fx 3 was chopped on May 18 at 66 days and gave me 45 grams. For me these fit nicely in 2 quarts or 1/2 gallon jars. Fx is a cross of (Fast n Vast x Master Kush) x Panama and all the phenotypes looked like the Panama mom as they finished. Fx 3 had the hairiest buds which grew tightly to the cola. Fx 1 began displaying some auto genetics through the clone and was culled.

All of what I've tested so far has leaned uppy sativa with Fx 2 really providing those body vibrations. I've been primarily testing the Fx 2 cobs that cured that way. So I'm really unclear if the potency is the weed or cure. Well....I take that back. What I hear on the cobbing thread is that cobbing will not make a bad weed better. It makes good weed better. I can assure you cobs make for a smoother smoke.

I've tried a bit more to care for the clone/moms and they appear to be doing well. Here's a couple of shots of the veg tent.

Enjoy you Memorial Day weekend. Thank someone in a uniform. Smile at all the others. :bongrip:

Good afternoon MJ,
That FX4 put out seriously my friend.
I never get two foot colas like that.
Congrats and enjoy the fruits!
:passitleft:
Thanks CS.

Fx 4 Harvest Day

When I peeked in this morning I was fairly sure she was ready. Fx 5 is running a day or two behind but I have a doc appointment tomorrow so she'll likely be chopped later this week.

She sure isn't pretty with the burned uppers but this ought to yield a bit better. I'm just happy with getting an organic grow to the barn. I think it's worth the effort. I only wish I had better control of the environment.

I have some outside chores too...The yard needs to be mowed. Have a great day folks. :bongrip:

Stage man....I saw that you were getting around the various gardens. Oh yeah....back at ya :passitleft:

They weren't quite 2 feet but they sure were interesting. Hairiest that I've harvested. So I figure that's a good thing. Means it should have lots of calyxes. Yep....those little resin producers that I love so much.

What's cooking MJ?? Any goodness in the flower room?

High Bob....I'm just marking time here as the flower room is dark. The overflow tent is jammed full of clones/mothers which makes me wonder at times about my sanity. I really do need to whittle down that Fx line to one which mean I need to test and grade those and cull. Trouble is....at this point I'd keep them all which makes absolutely no sense as my next grow will be from seed and I'm going to want to clone all of those. :bongrip:

nothing like a fresh bowl in the morn have a good day jim!:smokin2:
I started my day with a couple bowls of my favorite Chemdawg. Then I washed the little car and went to have breakfast. Fact: Good weed, beautiful day (coolish with low humidity) after a couple days of scattered thunder boomers; add roadster with the top down and sometimes crazy driver and you have wind therapy. No worries, just sheer pleasure.

I got back and smoked small piece of Fx 2 cob...I'm ripping stoned as in uneven walking and feel like that couch lock is just on the other side. Let's hope not...all that rain and my lawn needs mowing again. :bongrip:

yes it is good weed sounds like your having a splendid day my friend enjoy!:)
Almost got the grass done. My mower is about 15 years old and has been using oil for the last 3 years at least. She's just about to let go. She's constantly smoking now and almost no compression. My buddy at the pawn shop is on the look out for me but I'll buy another new one if necessary. I'm getting a little old for this ish but not ready to hire out this type of work.

The weed kicked pretty hard but didn't put me down. Now I'm buzzing and almost ready for another bowl. I hope your day is going well. :bongrip:

Mmmm.......tomorrow sounds like a good time to open the Carnival cobs and take samples. :slide: You guys really know how to tempt a girl. Lol!

I like having full jars Jim. I know you understand. :green_heart: Hey.... makes me smile warmly every time you blissfully describe the advent of wind therapy. :battingeyelashes: That baby was a great investment. Retirement turned out to be more fun than we expected

I can't take away the posts without leaving something sweet behind.

Someday we'll meet and you can show me what magic you use to get your plants to perform like that. Three years, and I'm still looking at your pictures and feeling like I'm still trying to catch up. :battingeyelashes:
