Just found mould and nanners on the biggest cloa of the Mimosa.
They're coming down tomorrow.

Thanks Shed, I've got 13 so far now.Good news on the GG4 and nice looking seeds!
Thanks Keith, they had plenty of time to mature. Those seeds are nice looking.
Thanks Ke0ncp, it looks like it'll be good.Good catch! Hopefully it all turns out OK!
That's a fine blend of scents! The drying Mimosa reeks of orange peels, spices, and garlic.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Different strains might indeed act differently, even under the same conditions. Well, I hope the plant will do just fine there!Glad you're enjoying the show!
Impressive as the Professor's results are I don't think I'll be trying 10 myself
Thanks for checking in!
I've had several strains that had predicted outdoor harvest times of late September, and they've all kept going into October, so I don't usually set too much stock in those predictions. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
I've had strains with a 10 week flowering period start stretching mid-July and set buds by August 1st, and I've had other strains with shorter flowering periods that set buds two weeks later and barely made it to harvest.
Either way, the girl outdoors right now has plenty of time before she shifts into flower, and I'm really looking forward seeing how she does out there!
Hi RhastaBlasta!
I did flip these girls late March, and they're nearly done. It's the Godzilla Glue #4 that I sprouted for my outdoors grow that I'm wondering about.
The outdoor season here isn't really suitable for plants that take more than 70 days in flower most years. It also has a tendency to end rather abruptly. With a very few exceptions any plants I've had that were still standing when the Autumn rains hit have been hit hard by budrot.
Congrats on the chop & glad no further rot9 mature seeds so far, and I wasn't really looking for them.
Both plants are harvested and hanging. The Mimosa nugs are decent, with no further sign of rot. The oldest bracts have a reddish purple hue to them which wasn't really visible until they were upside down.
No rot at all on Godzilla Glue #4, and her nugs are firm.
I set up the big tent to dry them with a drying recipe in the Vivosun app. We'll see how that goes.
I tried to vape a fresh sample from the Mimosa like @copperrein mentioned, but I'm not getting much. Just a bit of pressure and fuzziness. Looks like I'll have to wait until the first nugs are dry to give you guys any kind of report.
It is! I'm looking forward to how she smells after a good cure! That's a fine blend of scents!
I really do like it! Orange flavour, but not overly sweet. Adds some nice variety. That orange zest flavor sounds like something special!
She's doing really well so far, despite being assaulted by slugs. Thanks for sharing your experience! Different strains might indeed act differently, even under the same conditions. Well, I hope the plant will do just fine there!
Thanks Scottay!Hey Mel!! That nugget looks nice and of course I like the seeds too!! Good description on the tester buzzer!! I prefer to vape just because it's just the flavor without combustion. I bet it gets kinda trippy after a good cure!! Happy Tuesday homeskillet!!
Thanks con!C
Congrats on the chop & glad no further rot
I put some slug bait pellets on there, and most of the new growth since then has been untouched. I'm not sure if sodium ferric is the active ingredient in them, but I think it is. Too bad the label is too faded to read.I use Sodium ferric EDTA (oh cool, it's chelated!) for slugs and snails, but in a standalone pot (if it's on a flat surface), a ring of salt around it will do.
Yes, it's a very painful slow death...think of.. the 1st Chucky film when he got melted at the GoodGuy doll factory scene. Sad slow death.I put some slug bait pellets on there, and most of the new growth since then has been untouched. I'm not sure if sodium ferric is the active ingredient in them, but I think it is. Too bad the label is too faded to read.
I don't like to use salt for slugs, I've seen it affecting them, and it's not quick. I'm also thinking that the rain we're getting here would wash it away, including into the pot.
That's a beautiful lady!It is! I'm looking forward to how she smells after a good cure!

Thanks Scottay!
No couch lock, but makes it easy to sleep, and puts a smile on my face!
I really do prefer vaping to smoking. I've never really been able to get any flavours from smoking except "smoke".
Thanks con!
