One other note about CLFs... they DO work! I have 4 HPS in my flower room but I use T8s and CFLs in my veg and clone rooms... They do work.

CLFs should be very close to the plant, about 2" is fine. I have a 16 light bar that I made that the plants love.

A CFL bar is easy to make with a 2x4 and some bulb sockets. You can hang CFL bulbs from their wire, you can clamp them onto a bucket and have side lights.

They are cheap to replace, and the heat isn't too much.

They are a bit more work to keep moving them around so the plants don't burn, they love to grow into them , but still an effective, cheap workable solution.

That's what I was going to do. I wanted all the plants on a Lazy Susan.

I don't think that would work well now because of the lack of room and all the branches getting tangled up, but yeah, that's a great idea.
