Full disclosure: I’m no expert lol.

So I do a lot of clones, and initial yellowing doesn’t bother me, I mean to look at it does, but I know once the roots take hold all will be good.

You have a plant with no life system ie roots. To me it’s normal to see some cell damage while your plant goes into “I need to throw roots to survive STAT!” Mode.

Give ‘em time :)

some of it looks like mag def but the twisting leaves and variegation is something deeper. reminds me of a pest response.
were these clones taken from a plant in flower ? it might just be trying to turn around.

for RH and Room Tempture i have the new mars hydro smart fan. but it need to work.. think this week they start.. I can set it as I wish

The clones are from old mother plants estimate about 1 year old. the mother plants show that they are female and were often cloned by the clone because I didn't have enough space for them

near the second week after cloning
That can be confusing since some growers will figure the 2nd week is because they were cut from the mother around the 5the of the month and are now around 2 weeks old.

And, some growers will figure that they were cut from the mother around the 12th and are now starting their 2nd week.

So I do a lot of clones, and initial yellowing doesn’t bother me, I mean to look at it does, but I know once the roots take hold all will be good.

That is what it looks like. The cuttings are still working on starting to develop roots.

I look as the yellow showing up is because the cutting is pulling Nitrogen and stored sugar/sucrose from the existing leaves to keep as much of the cutting alive. The way I look at it the most important thing at this point is not the fan leaves but what is happening with the newest growth that is still. As long as those stay a shade of green the plant is sending water and stored nutrients to them even if some of the older fan leaves start to turn brown and die back.

Once the roots are growing the cutting is turning into a self-supporting plant and becomes a clone of the mother plant. The new growth has a nice green color and every couple of days I can see the new leaves. The leaves that are attached to the stem right now will looking worse and worse and will eventually get cut off. To me it is all in the new growth. At that point as long as each new set of leaves is larger than the previous set then the root system is getting stronger.

Looks like a touch overwatered combined with a ph issue.
If your going to ph in soil then 6.3 is your goal. :Namaste:

I agree with bluter and zigzag... possible Mg deficiency...

however, some yellowing on clones is common, although I usually see it only on the half-clipped leaves. yellow on new growth indicates an issue.

when I take a cutting, I clip off the mature leaves so that only 2 are remaining, and clip the leaflets...

Doing it this way, I only ever see a little possible yellowing on the clipped leaflets, but not the new growth.
so it's possible that OP has left too much leaf material for the emerging roots, hence the yellowing as Wings was saying, as nutrients are pulled from those leaves.

This looks like something else... possibly a mosaic-type virus. One-off variegation happens, but where there is distortion like this, I've read that it points to a virus.

I’m not even sure what lollipopping even is lol. So I’m not sure.
A method of training and pruning to remove excess growth from the lower area of the canopy as @cbdhemp808 mentions.

If a lollipop training works then the plant looks more like a candy lollipop sucker that a lot of us would buy from the candy store when we were kids. It can look very impressive on outdoor grown plants but I have had to spend more time than it is worth trying to do it on indoor plants.

One thing I noticed is that even when I get the nice round shape within the first couple weeks of flowering the flowers along the sides are not growing as fast or as full as the top flowers. The outdoor lollipop plants I have seen will look like a ball of buds with flowers everywhere except the very bottom of the canopy.

The first little drawing shows why it works well outside. The sunlight will get to the sides which means that most of the flowering tips will grow decently. When trying to do it inside under artificial light the sides do not get enough light so buds in that area do not grow as large.

Outdoors first...

And then when trying with an inside grow the shape is a lot less like the rounded top of a lollipop sucker....

Defoliating leaves and small branches below the canopy, where not much light reaches. Make 'em look like little trees.
Well that’s a yes from me!

I love to see a bit of leg ;)

today we are done with lollipoping and huge defolition, the mars hydro fc-e 8000 are by 45% and it‘s under 400W. the plants loot so amazing with the UV Bar are it‘s insane.. there in flower week 2.

nutrients are only from livingsoilfertiziler. (reaper) every 2 week‘s nutrients and one week only water..
