Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I haven't tried vaping concentrates, but I love my Arizer Solo. Still experimenting with it - only had it for a month. Since I got it I have only smoked once ('tidying up' some shake .) and I really didn't like it - harsh and stinky, and then I was stinky!!! I won't really smoke again. I didn't notice much about the difference except there were some extra edges when I smoked that I don't really miss when vaping. It was a good test to do. With the vape, I like that I can control things a little (although I am now looking at the specific temp controls on the solo II, or the extreme Q - but I'm a solo toker so the extreme is overkill for my needs). I can get a nice hit at low temps that eases pain and relaxes very nicely with little or no high, and then I can turn it up a bit for more psychoactivity.

Thanks for the tip about the eleven Nismo! I'd like to learn to make conentrates one day and the Solo isn't equipped for them so I'll keep that one in mind.

I've been finding the infused oil I made (36hr decarb/infuse method picked up from SweetSue) really effective for pain. I haven't reached for painkillers for a few weeks now and that was a 3-4times a day habit. The oil also helps me sleep - esp if it has some indica (I prefer sati a dominant in the vape).

So that was along way to say - if the smoking isn't agreeing with you I can highly recommend a vape - Arizer are good. Decent price for good quality. I didn't know they make one for concentrates... which one is that??

Durban Poison is a classic. Plan to grow it at some point

I grew out Dutch Passion's version, Finished in about 67 days, love it....LOVE IT!!!!! Would love to find some regular seeds of it and try some crosses. Love the smell too. I didn't get the Anise that other talk about but its a very pleasant floral smell.

I honestly don't know how it's supposed to smell I only got a bag of outdoor grown Cali stuff. It honestly might have been Jack Herer now that I think of it either way amazing strains

Nis,...is that vape pen good for flowers too,...cuz I still havn't opened mine from my MOTM win. Thought it was just for concentrates...?
It's not for flower. Strictly concentrates. Take some of your bubble hash and throw it in there man. You will be in for a tasty treat!! I mean, unless you using the vape pen is like you trying to figure out your phone, then we totally understand why you are scared. Lol. I'm just giving you a hard time man! Lol!! Have a good day Dewgs!

SAVAGE! Damn Canna he's from a different generation! Cut him some slack! For real though Doogs, you gotta try making some rosin from the dungeon hash. I bet it's out of this f@€}|π% world!

Maybe try a 50/50 hybrid with a good body high. Blue Dream is the first that comes to mind, makes you feel alert with a head high then relaxes into a powerful body high.

It's a great anytime smoke. Love it.

The flower vape is the kind pen and the concentrate vape is the VB11.

Is that what people refer to as dabs? I have heard that those are way more powerful that flower...not sure I need that LOL, I am a truly a cannabis lightweight LOL, though my tolerance has gone up since my first harvest and I am smoking daily.

Dabs hit a lot faster than flower so I would take a couple puffs and see where it takes you. Very little odor and the terpenes are 100 times stronger than flower, depending on the extraction method. I've heard BHO can destroy the terpenes compared to a solventless method like rosin.

We have some in the staging area for the next grow. Have to give the photo period version a run for its money.

Rosin also destroys terps with heat just FYI the only way to destroy the least amount of terps is to dry sift.

Well, he's not that old. I've looked him in the eye and shook his hand. Hell, he was our best man at our wedding in Jamaica, while Sue binded us with the rest of the gang there. I have the honor of being able to toss him a little shit here and there. It's a rite of passage. Lol!

Yeah I have a very high pain tolerance and generally just suck it up for most of the day unless its just wearing on me mentally. I refused to try the pain pills they gave me for the back, fuck that. I don't even like taking motrin or tylenol. Hell I was over 3 months into this back situation before I even tried smoking weed. Got tired of not being able to sleep more than 2-3 hours and gave it a shot and blown away. Disk and nerve pain were gone in less than 30 seconds. I got hit with spasms so bad one morning I couldn't get out of bed on my own. Ms Stank helped me downstairs (took about 20 minutes total to get me out of bed and downstairs) and I took a hit and the freaking spasms were GONE. I mean seriously...going from not being able to roll over and get out of bed to 'holy shit, its gone' in less than a minute.

LOL...ordered my grow tent, lights, seeds, filters, and everything else that day and haven't looked back.

So question for any of you oil folks out there. Last night Ms Stank and I were talking about oil and its different effects. Will sativas pass on the sativa type high even in oils? Does it change vs smoking it (effect wise)? We were thinking in terms of energizing oils vs indica type oils. Also, what happens if you combine two different type of buds...say a nice sativa and an indica into the oil....what does that do to the effects?

I Plan on trying it, just curious what others have found when doing that, if any of you have done it?

yes..my sativas' effects come through in most of my edibles..

Tell this story to every critic of medicinal properties of cannabis. This is a great success story Stank I can't tell you how happy I am to hear this.

Hey, I will be honest man....I had a preconceived opinion of 'pot heads' prior to this. I grew up in florida and I hung out on the beaches and dabbed a little in pot as a teen. Seemed that so many of the users fell into that 'cheech and chong' beach dudes that didn't work or just sat around smoking pot and drinking beer all day. That was cool at 17 and 18, but I quickly outgrew it and joined the Marines, did 22 years, didn't touch the stuff. Dealt with a lot of injuries and pains during those 22 years but learned to just suck it up. After I retired in 2011, I didn't really touch the stuff...I mean why should I, I went 22 years without touching it.

I remember reading about people supposedly using cannabis as medicine and my "Alpha" male mentality kind of dismissed it as bullshit and people being weak and needing a crutch to get by on life instead of dealing with it. I honestly didn't put much merit into it. Now during this time, my brother started growing commercially in Washington State and would try to sell me on the benefits. I didn't buy into it. I still maintained my 'opinion' of what most 'weed users' were and they didn't change much from when I was 18 to my current age.

LOL...then I hurt my back. And let me tell you, back pain is far different from any other pain out there. I am a guy that did a 12 mile 'hump' with an 80lb+ pack on my back with a broken foot and just sucked it up. I did MMA for many years while I was in and suffered some painful injuries, but nothing like back issue. When I finally broke down and smoked some pot to try to ease the pain, I completely changed my whole thinking. I started actually researching the benefits....different strains, effects, etc (which subsequently led me here to 420 mag). I was blown away with what it treated....MS, Parkinsons, Autism, Seizures, Cancer, chronic pain, ADHD, depression, PTSD, migraines (Ms Stanks issue). I literally did a complete 180 on my thought process about cannabis.

And I had preconceived opinions on members of 420 mag before ever really reading or following any of ya'll. But over time, I was blown away by the positive attitudes on here. People with real careers and professions, not just beach bums with no jobs like I saw as a kid. There was a willingness to help others on here that I just don't see in the rest of the world. So when I got all my stuff set up for the grow...I started a journal, not knowing where it would lead me. I have to say, I found my home. The people here are amazing. They share without expecting anything in return. They teach, eager to help. They encourage and stay positive. The more people I meet the more I am amazed and thankful I decided to give it a try.

Now I love everything about growing (admittedly I had been a long time gardener so growing wasn't anything new...just cannabis was), and find my life focuses more on this plant and things related to it than I ever imagined. A passion was definitely born from here. My name is Van Stank....and that my friends is my story.

Jack Herer is another strain that will be grown soon. Heard a lot of great things about it. LOL, if you guys saw my seed box you would be like "WTF, you need some professional help"

It was the same for me too, until coming here and seeing the people were real. As you said everyone is so selfless and want to help. The world needs more people like us!!

Hello, My name is Canna and My husband and I have a problem. Too many seeds, not enough room to grow all the plants.

I was seriously blown away. The people are amazing, the forum does a fabulous job keeping the rift raft out. Love it. And i love meeting all the new people. I didn't get out of my own journal much for the first month or so....now I can't keep up with everyones journals LOL.
