The Birds of Paradise looks real nice! I really like the way my PF grows out. I have only smoked it once with my super low tolerance and it took one hit to have me higher than most strains get me in two or three hits. It smells and tastes like nothing I have tried before. i would like to find the D pheno that reeks of canned pineapples. One day maybe.
 
I really wish we had more room currently to be able to let pollen fly and make some seeds. We have 7 more BoP seeds and I am sure there are a few fems in there.
 
I'm wanting to make a sealed 4x4 chamber, to chuck some pollen. I think everything that dynasty puts out is fire. He does nice job, ya never hear of anything being unstable like some of current pollen chuckers(inhouse). Why I jumped on some alien gear over the weekend, pricey but he put the work in

Today I decided to check on the time lapse and make sure everything is going good with the settings, picture quality, frame rate, etc. When doing so I pulled a few images from the video to show the growth rate of these girls.

Yesterday I did a leaf wash on them as a preventative measure against bugs. Even though we haven't seen any on these 2 plants in a couple weeks, we are not taking the chance.

The camera has not moved and will not move unless they stretch out of frame, then I will have to pan it up. I do have a question for anyone that knows a thing or two about cameras. If you notice on the pictures that there are "bars" on the screen from what I would assume is from the frequency of the light causing "noise" in the pictures. So my question is how would I get rid of them? Could I just change the camera from 50 hz to 60 hz? I'll see if I can't fix it in post editing if anything else.


I'm feeling a little under the weather today and lovely wife has prescribed countless dab rips to fix the illness. Well needless to say my stomach is only slightly upset currently but it sounds like there is a flock of birds inside the house...now the question is, do I stop or keep going and maybe I'll see a bird? lolololololololol

Just buy some uva/uvb protection glasses... Any cheep ones take the lens off and place it over your camera lens and it will take the lines off!!! Lol I use the lenses off my broken Locs

Dude you should see the video. I have it set to take a picture every 5 mins so it comes out to about 4 seconds of video for a single day. Watching the leaves float up and down during the day is awesome to see. We only have 4 days of footage so it wouldn't be much. I'll have a video put together after 3 weeks, that would make a 1:24 video which would be fun to watch.

I cannot wait to pop my heirloom sativa Ace Malawi x Bhangi Haze called Nimbus 2000. Tall lanky tiny little buds like a Panama but turns pinkish purple all through flower
 
Great evenin to ya's over here! Nis, what a pc. of work your doin bud, with the time lapse stuff , and your growing. How come ya didn't let them get a bit bigger .:wood:...LMAO!...no...they are just about a perfect size for the two of em in there. They will fill that tent up quite nicely.
I'm looking forward to seeing the leaves rise ....and fall, with the photoperiod. Nis, this is a perfect opportunity to show why we harvest after an extended 'dark' period,...very cool to see by time lapse..high speed. We will/ should be able to see the leaves 'dump' into the soil for the night. Do you have an overlap set up Nis ? Anyhow , great stuff bud...cheers.:high-five:

I wish we could have let them get bigger but they are in a 4x4 tent. It just wants me to get a 50 or 60 gallon pot and have a complete monster. That'll be the goal for 2018.

The time lapse will show that but doesn't right now. They are still trying to stay up passed their bed time lol.

What do ya mean 'overlap'?

Well the camera has a built in timer so I set it to record the same time the lights are on. If the camera had a night vision function then we would be able to capture the night cycle as well. It'll fun to watch, that's for sure
