Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

So it has been 48 hours since their first CAT drench and a few of them have turned on the frost factory. Checked the brix level today on the Blue Dream and got 22, 17, and 17. So a brix of 17 is quite good and is kinda mind blowing at this point in flower. Will do some more testing this weekend on the others.

Here are a few shots of the group.

Temps are holding around 79-80 and humidity is 58-60%. They are 25 days in and have 5-6 weeks left on them so in a week we will start running the dehumidifier to 50-55%. Tonight they got sprayed with brix after the pictures.

Have a good night. :passitleft:

:jawdropper:
Alright. :adore::adore::drool::adore::adore::drool:

First of all, good lord! Those are some amazing plants and oddly familiar....I'll bet you got yours in the same fake plant catalog, the ones with the ever-so-slight taco leaf, abnormal amounts of resin forming early in bloom, bright green stems, perky posture, vigor from top to bottom, strong stems......17 brix.

You're basically doing pretty much what I do, but with so much more elegance with the fluxing and all that. Seriously, congratulations on showing people what can be accomplished with a good environment and High Brix soil. It makes me very happy to see you guys take my gear to another level!

How long have you been growing?

Thanks doc. Seriously.

We started growing a year ago...a year and about 2 weeks lol. I did a ton of research and went from there. Started in fox farm nutes since it's what I thought was the only option (synthetic nutes). Then found the DBHBB journals and found it was a better way. Let me tell you, you have me sold. It's very easy, you get awesome looking plants, branches that are strong as shit, and from what I hear, since this is our first kit run, this is the best tasting weed around. How could you say no?

BTW, don't you just love the Cat Drench, when everything is right? The resin literally grows overnight.

I walked in there tonight and my jaw dropped. I sat on my chair for about 30 mins just staring at them. I can only imagine what will happen with the one they get Saturday. They will be stickier than a fly trap!

So how many grows have you done?

Hit the taco plant with some WayAhead and she'll stay in the zone and do crazy things.

Re: Welcome All My Friends

Stunning!! :bravo:

Are your lights on at night or day?
When do you usually foliar? before/or just after lights on or before lights off?
Thanks Ziggs. The lights are on during the day. I had thought about running them at night over the summer to help keep it cool in there and so the ac isn't running non stop.

Foliars are done right before lights out (last 30 mins) or just after lights out. Depending if I want to take pictures or not lol.

We have harvested somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 plants or so. I do think it helped that we had a bit of horticultural knowledge before we started. I think our learning timeline was sped up since we have the space to have a few more plants rather than being limited to what we can fit in a 4x4 tent.

I didn't put the wayahead in with the brix last night since they got it last week. I thought i read that you only spray it 3 times while in flower so I was going to do every other week. If anything I'll put it in with a bit of de-stress and give her a spraying tonight.

I believe you can use the WA10X with some Dextrose by itself(w/ water) if you dont want to wait for the DeStress pony ride.

Re: Welcome All My Friends

No....glucose water. Please don't use table sugar!

If you need some Dextrose, I've got it and it's not expensive. I'd prefer you piggy=backed it, however. That's what I do.
So if they just got brix and don't need de-stress but need WA10X, what should we mix it with and how much?

Wayahead should not be sprayed without Dextrose. Brix has lots of dextrose....so it piggy backs very well.

If you're going to spray WayAhead on its own, you'll need 1 oz of Dextrose per quart of water and .25 oz WayAhead.

Dextrose=glucose. Do not use table sugar!

Thank you. That is what I wanted to hear. We were not going to use table sugar lol. Dextrose powder is what we were going after. Just didn't know how much to use. I just called it sugar water because I have welded on Dextrose pipes before and just referred to it as "sugar water". But thank you for clarifying for those that didn't know that as I would hate to see someone use actual sugar.

We will do some spraying tomorrow. So would you just recommend adding the WA10X to brix when in flower? They seem to love it.

I definitely recommend adding WA to Brix in flower....but not on strains that don't need it. Brix is full of goodness all by itself.

The problem is that we're often dealing with strains bred for hydroponic performance...totally different roots. WA is a "work around" for a substandard root system.

Which brings up an interesting observation:

=======================

So I've been growing the SkyWalker OG now for 3 cycles, about to do a 4th. I'm starting to get it dialed in, the last harvest was mind-blowing. Seriously amazing in every way.

What I'm finding is to basically grow the plant in a way that babies/nurtures the most roots you can get out of it. Foliar feeding for sure, but mostly Transplant for drenches, with a couple GE's up until Cat Drench time. Wet/Dry the first two times in bloom.

Veg something like this: ////Veg////Transplant, Water, Transplant, Water, Growth Energy, Transplant,/////Begin bloom///// water, Transplant, Transplant, Cat Drench, Top Dress with Blood Meal, Recharge, Epsoms Water, Water, Transplant, Water, Growth Energy, Water, Growth Energy, Water....until harvest.

Now that the roots are well developed, when I hit the soil with the unorthodox goodies, they go straight into flavor without burning the roots or making them lazy, like hydro roots.

I just smoked some of this same Skywalker, so I'm quite wordy. Wow.

That right there is some valuable information. Explains everything. Why we do what we do with the kit. It all goes back to having a giant ball of healthy roots. Recently we have started using transplant more and I can tell the difference.

We have a Skywalker X magic bullet cross that will be in the rotation sometime this year. The MB is a high CBD strain so it'll have a good medicinal value.

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Some awesome knowledge being dropped the past 2 pages or so!

That Blue Dream is looking amazing Nismo.

:reading420magazine:

Tons of information. Man how I love this place.

The blue dream is looking better every single day. The 2nd CAT drench will either be today or tomorrow. I'm thinking this afternoon they will be ready for it. Don't want the pots to dry completely.

This SSH is officially flowering. Has been in the flower room for 9 days and is showing some pistils...just a few. Just fluxin'.

Have some better pictures on the camera I'll get up here later today. Have an awesome day.

Re: Welcome All My Friends

Morning Canna , Nis and gang.....got one for ya Nis......."we're on the express elevator to hell....goin down!".....:)
I don't think you have watched a new movie in 20 years! Lol.

"They're coming out of the walls. They're coming out of the god damn walls!"

Good morning everyone. Last night was an eventful night in the garden. Since there was talk about how to do transplanting, we took a couple pictures of the lemon venom getting put into a 5 gallon pot.

Here she is ready to go into her new home.

Scored the roots.

Then dusted with roots! in the pot and on the root ball itself. Put her in the hole and back filled the pot. Yes duggan, there is a full 5 gallons of soil in there when we were done. :laughtwo:

The 4 Blue dream and 4 tutankhamon clones also got put into 1s. Filled up the pots, dusted some ruts into the hole, plopped the clones in there, cut off excess growth/leaves, and back filled. Plain water when transplanting. This was 22 days in the cloner.

More pictures tonight of everyone else. The flower girls will be getting their first CAT drench tonight. Wanted to do it yesterday but the pots were not dry enough to do so. They are ready. Here is the crown royale on Sunday, what do ya think? I consider those buds to have "set". Considering they are bigger today already.

Hope everyone has an awesome day. :passitleft:
Every time I hear backfill, I picture a backhoe, driving around a massive weed tree filling the hole back up! Beep, beep, beep, beep.... (those in the industry will get the beep!)

Peaceful blazing!
