Hey Lilred, nice seeing you over here. Thanks for everyone's condolences about my mom. My wife and i drove all the way to WV to make arrangements for my mom and we start the whole burial plot and ceremony thing. She had no will. The next day the evil stepsisters came. The first thing they did is go through all my mom's credit cards. Then they were trying to find her life insurance and 401K. I quickly cancelled all her cards. And her coworker got a strange feeling about and gave her no info. How awful are these girls? The problem i have is the money hungry one actually faked crying to me and everyone else. I felt so sick that I couldn't wait to leave. My wife was actually really good friends with her and puked over and over and until we left because of how the stepsisters acted.

Money and greed are very nasty. The fakeness in people is disgusting. I can't even imagine what u had to deal with. It is the position in my family that funerals are for the living.
After the performances at my brothers funeral we have all come to the decision that
1. There will be no funeral for any of us. Parents...children and siblings will see the bodies in private to say goodbyes.
2. We will be cremated and ashes spread as desired. We are dead so we have no idea if u spread or flush it
3. There will be hoarding or selling of our personal things...instead those things will be given away to someone who needs it...not want it. For instance all my thousands of dollars of sewing equipment. I don't want my stuff sold for profit...give it to someone who can actually use it.
It was only after my brother died that we really saw it clearly. I did not go and him and I were like bonnie and Clyde. My brother was my ride or die but I didn't need to prove that to anyone. I was there when they turned off the machine and his heart stopped. I said my goodbyes before his widow got greedy. Before she tried to turn my brothers funeral into a three ring circus. Cuz a family member is famous and rich she thought my brother was going to be buried in gold and the streets would be lined with milk and honey. If I had to go to my brothers funeral I am sure I would have thrown up the whole time like ur wife.
I am so sorry u had to go thru this.

We had a great time! Our friends love the GR. We couldn't finish that fatty we rolled. That's ok, I'll take care of that today. Lol!
We use aloe powder, water, and hydrogen peroxide to germinate. We add about a half tsp of aloe powder, 1 L. Water, and a cap full or 2 of H2O2. Shake and use for watering.
We just bought a big jug of aloe juice. I plan on using that instead of the powder next time. It may be easier that way.
As far as the whole plant goes, we haven't used it for germination, but I have been told you can. They told me to cut a slit in the aloe leaf, add the seeds into the aloe leaf, then just let them germinate there.
You should also be able to scrape the inside of the plant and add that to the water for nutrition while they are germinating.
I even used the aloe powder in a mmj hand salve/pain rub before. Next time I'll use the liquid somehow.

I'm so sorry to hear how your step sisters acted. Since there is no will, is it like a free for all? How do you decide who gets what? Better get a lawyer just in case the girls decide to rake you over the coals. It's too bad things happen this way. Hug your wife extra tight tonight, and know mom is watching over you.

Good morning everyone! In a few hours we will have our first visitors to our garden. He is a fellow grower and runs aeroponics. I'll make sure to have an update today since it's been a few days.
Yesterday we received some awesome news. I/we were chosen to to do a grow journal for Fast Buds and Gorilla seeds. They are going to hook us up with:
5 - fast buds gorilla glue (#4)
5 - fast buds of our choice
5 - of any breeder that is on gorilla's website.
This will be an exciting run and we have yet to decide what the other Fast Buds is going to be but the tangie-matic looks pretty tasty.
We will be sure to drop a link here to the journal once it is under way.

Hi C&N, just dropping a breeding note. My most recent reversal happened fastest yet. 22 days from flip to first pollen. It's an HSO Blue Dream, but not from the same original seed as my first go around. 3 sprays, just did another light mist.
That's awesome! Hell we were just over a month I do believe (have to check the calender). Blue dream will be making its rounds into making seeds probably next year. Hey could you PM me your successful STS recipe or post it here? You had 3 on your journal and was curious which worked for you.

Hi DD lovers. I thought I would share a little info from my limited dealings with the Dark Devil.
If you want to make feminized seeds, here is a method that worked for me:
Start with two seeds.
Germinate one, this will be the plant you reverse into a 'male'
One week later germinate the other. This will be the seed 'host' plant. You will pollinate her with the first.
When the first hairs appear on the first plant, spray her with Silver Thiosulfate. All over like she has mites.
Two weeks later, spray her all over again.
Observe the sprayed plant, watch her reverse. Hairs will die back, pods will begin forming.
On my reversed plant it took 24 days from first spray to first pollen. My 'foster grower' (long story) pollinated for 10 days.
Her seeds form quick and will take about 4 weeks.
Here is the Silver Thiosulfate Solution (STS) recipe:
Part A -1 gram Silver Nitrate dissolved into 60 ml distilled water
Part B - 6.25 grams Sodium Thiosulfate Pentahydrate mixed into 240ml distilled water (note that anhydrous sodium thio will require only 4 grams)
Mix the 60ml part A into the 240ml part B, constantly stirring. You just made STS concentrate.
Dilute your 300ml of STS concentrate. I started with 600ml more water, for a total of 900ml (1 part STS:2 parts water....300ml STS + 600ml distilled water). This seemed too 'hot' since it yellowed/crisped some leaves. My friend who finished my experiment said he cut the diluted STS even more, 1:1, which means it was somewhere around 5 or 6 parts water to 1 part STS concentrate. He reported that the original STS dilution read about 1900 ppm...quite high for a foliar IMHO. The reversed plant made lots of viable pollen, and the entire host plant is seeded.
Both my seeds were started at the same time, and it's clearly worked. I just recommend a week, maybe two, head start for the reversal plant to make sure you have pollen in time for the host.

Congrats Nis and Canna! If you are looking for suggestions I am very fond of the Tutankhamon and I know they carry GH Super Lemon Haze as well at Gorilla. A great seedbank they have always done just perfect by me. I will be stoked to see what you end up picking up from them and fast buds!
