I have found that cocoa masks nicely the grassy flavor. And cold/frozen fruit doesn't taste much as room temp one. If you have a blender try it with banana and cocoa. Also I like your vermicompost, good job on that. And I have found very interesting irrigation system which can even prune/boost your plants roots. Here is a link to semiautomatic one, but it can be made without the piping: Olla irrigation system

I want to spread this easy system around, and your journal is full of good ideas, so lets make it even fuller. Thanks.

The plant draws as much water as it wants, the roots are drawn to it, saves water. It is very hard/impossible to over-water with it unless some break occurs. And as you are in the construction business you may even work out different version of the ancient technology. Next level. HOLLA!

Yes it is a flavor mask and marketing is false prophet I agree 100%. So if you want the fruit overcome the flavor of the plant with its sweetness cold is not the way. And it makes your body cold, so more of the body energy is wasted on heating the cold beverage. And I drink only non-alcoholic beers time to time and they also taste good at 60F. But as I live in beer country there are so many beer brands and breweries it's unbelievable. Not talking about all the wine.

I'll have a look when I get home. I've been putting off the breeding update since there really isn't much happening. I think I'm going to pluck off a few sacs and put the on the buds on the girls to see if that pollinates them. I will say the girls are beautiful and buds that are 2 weeks from flip are just gorgeous in my opinion. The purple kush is going to have one massive cola but too bad she will be full of seeds. The carnival is just like her mom with branches going everywhere and on their own with no training required. I'll for sure get some pictures up tonight. There are sacs everywhere with a few that look "open". Not sure if they are just nanners or what but there is definately something going on with her.

Wanna know how I spread the pollen when I made seeds? It's proper ghetto.

I waited till the a lot of sacks opened, cut the plant at the base and shook it vigorously over everything in there. Then i put a fan on hurricane speed for an hour. Not a bud came back without seeds.

Now that sounds like a hell of an idea. I left a few bud sites from being sprayed directly with the CS and they currently don't have sacs on them and was hoping for some self pollination. So we will see.

But I'll rip a sac open and see if there is any pollen. The first sacs showed up 2 weeks ago and that's when lights were flipped to 12/12 so we are at prime baby making time.

It took ages for the sacks on mine to open. Give them time. I didn't have to cut him down as he had more to give but he served his purpose. But just a good vigorous shake will release any pollen from open sacks
