the plants nearest the camera are only 6 weeks in and in the foreground they are 7 weeks in flower

getting fat weedtastic, great lookin plants.

Nice addition that carbon filter. my local hydro shop wants 400 Canadian for a fan and filter. I'm gonna rebuild my homemade unit, I can't talk myself into spending that much for a small grow. I'll likely never have more than 4 plants in flower at once.

4 plants in flower = intake at least passive and out take least needs to be some sort of extraction fan if i was you id go with another 2 plants this time get em budding real nice and if you can afford the extraction etc then buy it next time round for your 4.............be lucky weedtastic edit i don t really know how much if any your lights kick out heat? let me know thou? in a normal day in my grow room i have 2x 400 watt high pressure soduim lights 1 x 400 watt metal halide light in the same room with plastic blackout mylar round my veg which the heat seeps thru my temps are reaching 82 f when hot and 65 to 68 f ish during nite althou now veg light on thru out the night its warmer but ain t checked the temps to be honest but its nice an warm concidering we are havin much colder nites now once are summer ends here the temps plumit by this time next month 12 or 14 highs in the day is norm and 8 and 10 in the nites ....think ill need heater for the nites in maybe 6 weeks don t like the idea thou coz it messes with humidity guess ill cross that bridge when i come to it lol.....right enough rambling ...............be lucky weedtastic ops i forgot you made a carbon filter yourself how did that work?........so easy to forget on this weed lol plus we cut another bud down tonite fuck payin £20 a bag and it lasting 2 weeks with 1 pipe a nite im smokin 3 pipes a day at the mo with my grow bud and the wife and my stuff is way better than my dealers already awsome just awsome this growin cant wait till i do a 3 ish day dry and 2 week cure and then when i have some left 8 weeks down the road it will be the real deal as i want it lol.........be lucky weedtastic

Was planning on 4 next time round, might end up with 2 more strains so maybe 6 plants, have to up the lights. I'm still curious about the LED on it's own but my desire to grow some bud is begining to outweigh my curiousity, maybe add another UFO90w. At the mo my closet is left open lights on just for ventilation and even with with 2 dwarves it stinks the basement up real nice. Just got done pinching off a handful of the old yellowed fan leaves (from my repot)and I'm pleased to say my fingertips are sticky and smell like good hash, heheh.

There's very little heat output from the led and soon will need some heat in the basement grow closet. I want to stick with LED's but can't see the point of paying for heat when some lights will supply it along with the extra light I want, so it's gonna take some forethought. I may move it all back into my spare bedroom upstairs to eliminate the cold issue. We had a couple of weeks of -30C and worse last winter. Main floor stays toasty but basemnt is mainly workshop so I don't keep it very warm.

The filter worked great for a closet, no smell at all with the door closed and not bad right next to the plants, but the cheap fan died after a couple of weeks, not intended for continous operation. I have a new design in mind that will use my 12" osc fan. Maybe try it out this weekend.

Sounds like some excellent weed especially as early as your test and it was from the sick plant wasn't it, and quick cured? Did I already ask if if you can OD on weed?heheh

20 pounds (35 and change Canadian)for what size bag? 7 gram here is usually 70 Canadian and thats for the local hydro which is grown for yield and lack of smell. Thats street level dealers. I don't smoke it, no taste, minimal buzz, but I rarely buy at that level anyway. I smoke hash unless there is something special around for weed and $200 for 28 grams when available for good weed. I usually pay $140 for 28g good to great weed.

great post mate so many points and all good i tell yea you have the feel for growin anyways ill just say this i used to smoke solid......solid is resin yea ? a hard block of weed i started workin on real good money £1000 per week taking home after tax so i started buying wot we call bush............£20 for 2.2 grammes if your lucky but wot the hell i cud afford it then i was made redundant so cud not afford the £20 per week the wife was quite happy to go back to the solid shite i was not and did without for 4 months then my right hand man gotta lead on getting lights for free and advising us we killed 57 yes 57 germinating seedlings coz we where flick em around with are nicotine fingers which kills seeds so does nicotine so we read an read and read some more ....same as you all same as u all hear on 420 and thought fook it lets ava go.........stonned lol an not sorry lol be lucky mistergreen....ps the solid wud cost me £15 every 2 weeks

stoned is good, real good just dumped a bowl of ash a few mins ago,,, brown Afi hash from the homeland, I think another round of Canadian troops home from Afi recently, lol last post took me about 20 minutes to type, had to keep checking what I was responding to. soo solid is resin with plant material sorta like kief maybe not so green cor weed in bricks. lol never mind as soon as I posted I saw that you already told me clearly what solid is,lofnl

I can do without when i have to, but I like to know how my weed has been handled and so on anyway so I don't often "take to the street" Been a few stretches like yourself where I just won't smoke dirt weed or local chemmy hydro.

nicotine, oh yeah you smoke rollies don't you? Could see that killing seeds for sure, hell a cigarette butt can kill a toddler. I smoke but don't crank my own probably still enough on my fingrrs to be bad for seeds, maybe it's good for clones? kidin
I hope they were bagseeds, man it would be discouraging. ya know I've tried to germ a few bagseeds lately and they don't sprout, wonder if it's nicotine related. I'm pretty sure I washed up beforehand but I don't know about the lady I got em from.

I have some oldschool seeds mixed strains, maybe a hundred or so, that I've had in film can for a long time and would love to get even one to sprout , because they all came from top qualit smoke,but don't want to try until I get good results with bag seed. Suppose there's no reason to wait they ain't gettin fresher but I am already gonna have 2 extra plnts soon I believe. Passed a dozen on to a buddy who has been doing some growing and he knows a medical permit grower who has a lot of time in so maybe they can get something going. Clones later.

that would be an eighth or 1/2 quarter here cause they usually weigh the bag also,lol. 1and 1/2 grams of plastic 2 grams weed.

Big adjustment when your livelihood disappears, been there a few times.

talk about a cohesive post, must have missed a pinch of hash in that bowl, heheh I'm whacked
