hey weedtastic, what did you use for that blackout sheet? I think i need to separate part of my room for a separate veg area for clones.

its called blackout at our hydro shop here in the uk hope this helps..............be lucky weedtastic

Looks like the clones are taking to the soil. Great job. I have never in my short career had any luck with cloning in soil, so you must be doing something correct. Again great job. I guess I am going to have to get some lesson from you..
no mate don t be mistaken i got about 9 clones from about 25 cuttings so im no expert myself also they were not put into soil at first i put them in root riot cubes and just to clarify the cubes are made from a sponge like material with a small hole in the top to drop your cutting into the intructions adviced organic rooting gel called clonex (it has all sorts of hormones in it which aids rooting apparently) which i used you just dip the cut end of the plant into the gel ....once you see a few roots coming out the sides or bottom of the cubes you just stick your cube straight into the soil .......not a great sucess rate but if you take many clones and aim a 33% survival rate and know the number of plants you want for your next grow.....then your in......hope this helps oh and lessons from me lol........i don t think so after your last grow just awsome mate ....well done again............be lucky weedtastic

Oh weedtastic. I don't get that many clones so 33% would be tough for me. I use the aeroponics thing I made and I get 100%. The problem is I like to grow in soil and they do not transfer over well. I have only one that lasted more the a week and its not looking that hot at this point. Maybe if we get some cooler weather. Thanks for all the advise.

All I know is that clones into soil is a hard thing to do. I have always got over 95% clone success using Olivias cloning gel, rockwool cubes and a humidity dome. A lot of cloning success comes from where you cut the clone...there should be at least one node below the surface of the cube, because thats where roots are most likely to form.

Can you put the rockwool cubed in soil after they root.
