This answers my question and now understand your goal. I harvest roughly 10-15 pounds a year and give it away to "friends in need". I help people that have a medical need and can not find a strain that works in the dispensary or elderly, fixed income that can not afford it. Most are veterans with PTSD. Three strains a day is the most commonly effective method. It takes a couple days to see the full effect so we adjust every 3 days. Each persons dose and strains are different but there is a popular mix I always start with. Low THC Jack Herer in the morning opens the lungs and increases circulation to just feel good. Mowi mid day for motivational energy. Thai in the evening for uninterrupted sleep. Thai is vary effective for PTSD night terrors.
I don't see any advantage and several obstacles to doin this in Thailand. I have a childhood friend and business associate that's been in Cambodia/Thailand for the last 8 years but he stays close to the US embassy's. The legal and political system is not long term stable. With that geographic location, who would your clients be? That is a vary long flight from Europe or the US.
Sativa1970,
I am of a similar mind, however... during my Durban poison x white rhino grow, (a cross i did traditionally and made stable over 7 years), I was home invaded and spent 2.5 yrs for a murder i was acquitted of. Oh and my wife too.
I grew for a friend with Lupus, rickets and PTSD from Vietnam war. This from Australia in 2018, before we relaxed our laws somewhat.
Currently our laws restrict and make it illegal for me to have anything to do with the cannabis industry here.
We are also following the USA style system here, to say there are problems is an understatement.
It is expensive, strains not available, etc, and ran by very large companies with no care for patient outcome who push their own branded products and know there is no complaint system for patients, as this is a SHCEME and therefore is not actually legal yet.
I believe that Terpene content and make-up has a lot more to do with mental health alignment working with our brain chemistry than THC content does. I believe we are the dumbest smart people on the plant at times, and this is one of them. We are missing the point, but hey what do I know, I just use it, grow it and study it.
I also run around 3 strains a day, however these can change from week to week with my mental health.
Anxiety comes and goes, and if I have no Anxiety then something like Strawberry Cake induces Anxiety and panic attacks in me. But if I have that during a full blown panic attack, one cone and it is gone. I have other examples....
As for Thailand, well they have a mindset that all cannabis is medical, they wish to have trade partnerships with Australia and want to have medical research reciprocation.
Considering I have ZERO chance of doing this in Australia, and I have a Thai business partner who is already in the industry. She is Thai, and her dad has lived in Thailand for 25 years. However, the information regarding current or planned political activity is gratefully received.
Who would my clients be?
Well everyone...
