Weedcation? What would you like from it?

Yes I said Weedcation. I know we have all thought of it and what it could be.

I believe that there are 2 streams here.
Vacation for recreation and, or for Medical reasons.

We are talking Thailand here as an area, but this would apply most places.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Welcome to 420 Magazine

Interesting thought, but I thought Thailand was against this.
We have other on here from Thailand also.
Do you grow?

The easiest way to get help when you start is to open a grow journal and ask your question there.

Tok.. :bong:

Also, we now have a Fungi section if you would like to grow mushrooms.

What was the question? Most on here, are already on a permanent weedcation, be it medical or recreational. Going on vacation makes it a weedcation. Otherwise it is microgrocery shopping, or Netflix and weedchill.

Political volatility of Thailand would generate enough paranoia to harsh my mellow. The jar of Thai on the table is as close as I want to be to China right now.

Hey Tokin Roll,

I figured this would be a better place than a grow journal with no grow. But I thank you for your advice.

As for Thailand, we'll what we read and what is actually going on are not the same. I too had these queries, based upon informed news articles.
The I spoke with my partner in Thailand.

Either way, we plan to push towards a medical site/main centre where you can try product and have access to a qualified clinical psychologist/psychiatrist and relay effects in real time.
As a PTSD, Anxiety sufferer, I would like more contact and the ability to tweak my meds on the spot.

This would be the basis, with hopefully a fully vacation/recreational side if possible.

So all things being equal, what would you like it to be?

Cheers, Besmirched1

I have not missed a single day of smoking weed since Feb 1996. I may be on a permanent Weedcation....without actually going anywhere.
Apart from the time as a stay at home dad, and the 2.5 years i spent in prison for defending myself and my partner from a home invasion. I too have not missed many days since I was 16.

Thank you for your input.

i keep hearing thailand wants to criminalize cannabis again. the gov't has several issues with pot tourists and wants to get rid of the association. they don't want to be primarily known as a weed destination.

This answers my question and now understand your goal. I harvest roughly 10-15 pounds a year and give it away to "friends in need". I help people that have a medical need and can not find a strain that works in the dispensary or elderly, fixed income that can not afford it. Most are veterans with PTSD. Three strains a day is the most commonly effective method. It takes a couple days to see the full effect so we adjust every 3 days. Each persons dose and strains are different but there is a popular mix I always start with. Low THC Jack Herer in the morning opens the lungs and increases circulation to just feel good. Mowi mid day for motivational energy. Thai in the evening for uninterrupted sleep. Thai is vary effective for PTSD night terrors.

I don't see any advantage and several obstacles to doin this in Thailand. I have a childhood friend and business associate that's been in Cambodia/Thailand for the last 8 years but he stays close to the US embassy's. The legal and political system is not long term stable. With that geographic location, who would your clients be? That is a vary long flight from Europe or the US.

3 out of every 4 cannabis I grow are high CBD. For opening lungs and "other effects" I also used a blend of Mullein, Mugwort, and Coltsfoot......these really worked very well. I also grow broccoli and pea microgreens to eat every day. I have also used a number of different sub Q injected peptides such as the BPC-157/TB-500, Selank, and TA-1. Currently, I have a friend with some of the worst Lyme disease I think a person can endure. After using extremely powerful antibiotics, injected directly into his heart, and other pharmaceutical chemicals, and spending nearly everything he had...just to try and get back to work....I got him started on Stevia. After 1 week, his symptoms have been greatly reduced and he says he believes the Stevia is the silver bullet. Long story short....I believe that modern medicine really does not know how to deal with many of the most common problems people have.

The idea would be to use the information gathered as a repository for medical professionals to target medicines better for treatment.
Yes they are looking at a medical only system, but haven't started towards that yet.

Sativa1970,
I am of a similar mind, however... during my Durban poison x white rhino grow, (a cross i did traditionally and made stable over 7 years), I was home invaded and spent 2.5 yrs for a murder i was acquitted of. Oh and my wife too.
I grew for a friend with Lupus, rickets and PTSD from Vietnam war. This from Australia in 2018, before we relaxed our laws somewhat.
Currently our laws restrict and make it illegal for me to have anything to do with the cannabis industry here.
We are also following the USA style system here, to say there are problems is an understatement.
It is expensive, strains not available, etc, and ran by very large companies with no care for patient outcome who push their own branded products and know there is no complaint system for patients, as this is a SHCEME and therefore is not actually legal yet.

I believe that Terpene content and make-up has a lot more to do with mental health alignment working with our brain chemistry than THC content does. I believe we are the dumbest smart people on the plant at times, and this is one of them. We are missing the point, but hey what do I know, I just use it, grow it and study it.
I also run around 3 strains a day, however these can change from week to week with my mental health.
Anxiety comes and goes, and if I have no Anxiety then something like Strawberry Cake induces Anxiety and panic attacks in me. But if I have that during a full blown panic attack, one cone and it is gone. I have other examples....

As for Thailand, well they have a mindset that all cannabis is medical, they wish to have trade partnerships with Australia and want to have medical research reciprocation.
Considering I have ZERO chance of doing this in Australia, and I have a Thai business partner who is already in the industry. She is Thai, and her dad has lived in Thailand for 25 years. However, the information regarding current or planned political activity is gratefully received.

Who would my clients be?
Well everyone...

Yup, dumbest smart people on the planet.
This is what I believe also, and with cannabis i don't want the ignorance to continue.
We do actually know better here, modern healthcare ignored this research for decades while we continued. Now it's back to a we know better than you attitude, you will do it this way.
Heat, beat and treat. We stopped evolving once we learned these actions. If you have not read Biomimicry, I think you would find it a valuable read. Keep in mind this was written in the 70's. Mimicking nature, who would have thought that was a good idea? Sheesh!

One a side note/idea. Comfry us and interesting plant and i think used with cannabis as either, oil as a topical, or steeped in a tea would be beneficial. I wonder what the terpene content is.

These are the types of things I wish to facilitate and have shared. This plant and knowledge is to help everyone, in all aspects. Imagine if you could have that information at hand with your medical professional on board to achieve patient outcomes, rather than the current systems around the world?

I know it's a big vision, and trust me this is only a slice, but what if....

israel is light yrs ahead on this. canada is a close second. they both share and corroborate on cannabis research. it's used extensively for post-traumatic treatment and a variety of medical conditions from cancer to end of life issues.

israel has a tendency to both share and publish more on the topic than canada does.

canada is also currently exploring legal psylocibin/mushroom therapies and treatment, though they haven't let much out.

Yes they are looking at a medical only system, but haven't started towards that yet.

better check to see if it will be open to foreigners. that is a fairly common barrier.

Oh for sure, Israel started here when we first relaxed laws. Had some great products, but sadly got squeezed out.
Canada have products here, but they are expensive.
I am on the list fir trial MDMA research, but again it is a Scheme and this makes things difficult.

The thing that really sucks is without being home invaded, I would not have a record, and would not be restricted in Australia. In Thailand that does not matter. Canada, it probably will, and Israel is probably less stable than Thailand.

Israel is probably less stable than Thailand.

israel commonly proscribes medical cannabis and has dedicated facilities that sound exactly as you describe. you have to be israeli and have a need though.
as far as research i doubt you'll find better info than what is available there.

Lemon, pine and a bit of camphor by the smell. Do not ingest comfrey. It is for topical use only, toxic when ingested. Works great on rashes, cuts, bruises, joints and muscles. Wild plantain for bites and sassafras tea for stomach bugs. Spent a lot of time gathering those three plants, being a kid with no fear. Common Native American remedies.

Cheers, didn't know only topical, but having camphor makes sense. Glad to have the knowledge.
This is the information that is getting lost, through various ways.
I grew up with indigenous Aussies, barefoot and running wild.
Cannabis is no different, only it is new and taxable to most of the world.
Still run around barefoot, connection to earth, and still play in the dirt.
I have a lot of I wonders...
And as a topical paired with hemp oil, Shea butter and emu oil, I would think it would work for say varicose views? Scar recovery, add vitamin E, and burn recovery.

My whole point is making this kind of knowledge freely available for people to go and use it.

Thank you Sativa1979. 🙏
