Way over my head

thx everyone really appreciate it, unfortunately my cat 'little man' decided he was gonna raid my plants this mourning and ate 4 tops right off. the other 4 i had in flowering stage so they were safe. today my husband decided that it was time for me to get a custom grow box he got upset how i really enjoyed planting them and having the experience all for a pothead cat to devour the plants like godzilla ramming you with his butthole... so mad. anyway i got 4 plants left and i set them to early flowering. about another 2-3 weeks ima germ again and do it right this time.

yeah ima do the journal thing wit the new plants which ima start in about a month. the pictures prior are listed but tonight before storing the survivors for darkness ima take a pic of how they look.

so i took my four survivors and instead of flowering i put them back into veg since my new grow box is supa awsome!

lol i needed a design on the outside. might as well go scientific...
as u can see hopefully, two of them were thriving then all of a sudden they are looking yellowish in the middle and the other two have yellowish trim and bowling downward... i havent watered in 2 days and the soil is not dry but not all that moist either. any ideas?

oh i had put some nutes for blooming in cuz i had a dum moment that lasted for days but anyway it was like a good 2-3 cups of water w/nutes which for every gallon it had about 1/2 cup and that was 2 days ago and they had been watering with all purpose nutes 10-10-10 the day before that. its either or both that im watering too much or the nutes i put in cuz they dont need them right now right? oops...
 
yeah i was going to say your soil might just be a little hot for seedling as thats whats happening to me...but you added nutes :rofl:

you dont use any nutes when they this small, especially if your soil has food built in.

do you have the things needed to measure your water PH and change it?

if so you need to make up some water to PH 6.3 and airate it as much as possible (h202-bubbler-water the pots using a fine mister (takes an age) or generally agitating the water like shaking bottles or using a whisk) then flush it through to get rid of those nutes.

if you have liquid seaweed, you can mix a weak dose into that water to give vitamins and minerals to the plant to help a little with all the shock.

the o2 in the water will prevent most overwater symptons, once its less fertilised and the ph is stable you can let them dry out again and then hopfull by then, the plants should be ready for some very weak nutes =)
 
so after the flush the plants died so it was a fail. so im going to start gem another couple seeds after christmas ill make a journel for that one and see how that goes. i think i was stressing them out poor plants...

dont feel disheartened friend, we all lose a few plants.
ive had 10 seeds that didnt make it to 3 sets of leaves, whether from bad birth or damping off in the last month or so.
granted im deliberatly sloppy on my grow room hygene because i want only the strong to survive to reach breeding.
can hardly claim a disease resitant strain if i dont expose them to some riggors =D
