Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restrained

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

She looks pretty healthy to me, good color in the leaves. Nice shine on them too.

A little droopy maybe, but some of my plants have had days like that. They always

seem to bounce back within a few days. Check out Reg's unexplained droop, the

recovery was awesome.

Thanks BB, she usually was stretching for the sky, never seen her so sad, I noticed brighter leaf intersection (bright spot on one leaf where they all come together, right side, close to pinnacle). color, and the purple, spreading daily, almost black, she too, was being over fed, w some molasses and bat turd, has not been fed in 3 days, no signs of perking up.

thank you very much BB :high-five:
:thanks:
thoughts on these fresh pics?

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Hmmm

The purple can be caused by cool night time temps. Or a Phosphorus deficiency, low temps can also slow absorption.

Try a little plain water (I guess you done that already). If night time temps are dropping considerably.

Consider covering her with a suitable container at night.

If no improvement we'll get her into the emergency room.

Oh and bat poo is supposed to be good to fix a P problem.

Purple also can indicate the soil is too cool. One problem with temperatures which are either high or low effect soil temperature. In containers, the soil is the same temperature as the air around it. This is important when your pot gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. It is always a good idea to shade the container if at all possible.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

It is naturally advantageous for the plant to produce purple pigments during its flowering stage, cannabis is one species that has definitely learned that. Anthocyanin pigments are helpful by absorbing high energy photons, up and into the UV range. Light-stress of the plant can cause photo-inhibition would would decrease the overall photosynthetic efficiency, so I contend that with plants being grown right on the ocean, we tend to be just a bit higher on the UV index, and this purple-effect is certainly one possible result of the environment on the plant. This is one reason why I had so much success in growing a pure Purple Haze strain, the environment was especially conducive towards how the plant wanted to express itself in the environment. If you were to supplement with a high P > N ratio of nutrient, I could pretty much guarantee you would see increased yellowing rates. Purple coloration is naturally advantageous for the plant in my opinion, no reason to panic... if you had an actual deficiency you would have much more problems than just the pigment changing towards a more advantageous color. Just my two cents though.

Here's some natural purple I got late in my last grow.

As you can see the plant looks healthy, and this is just a trait of the strain.

That's beautiful. Is that Blue Cheese? Do you know why they call stuff 'sour' in the strain names? I'm always so put off by some of the names. Why would I like something sour?

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Well done GF, it is indeed Blue Cheese.

The purple tends to start around week 6 of flower, then as the fans are further drawn

of their nutrients yellowing rapidly develops. Drooping purple and yellow leaves tell me it's

time to chop. The stone is too heavy if you leave her much longer. I don't go by trichome color

on this one. Plus reps you.
