Well I never looked it to see where it came from, there is a town called Tarheel, If I had to guess I'd say it had some thing to do with tobacco, because it use to be the big money crop for a long time ...this is what wikipedia says.....The exact etymology of the nickname is unknown, but most experts believe its roots come from the fact that tar, pitch, and turpentine created from the vast pine forests were some of North Carolina's most important exports early in the state's history....see what ya did you made me learn something else.....as for how it got to be the name of UNC ...and this is from goheels.com... University of North Carolina athletic teams are known as the Tar Heels because North Carolina is "The Tar Heel State." One legend has the nickname being applied to the state's residents as long ago as the Revolutionary War. there's everybody's history lesson for the day

I ride in a horse-drawn buggy trichomes. My steed's sweat is usually in Celsius, but Bigger beads sometimes show Fahrenheit.
I'll make sure and give both next time sir.

Finally caught up. Dam hard to keep up trichromes. Fluxy is looking good but fogged in is not so good. High humidity. Dam that sounds like a song. Anyway keep it up

SoilGal, yeah she's a fatty alright, those limbs are thumbsize, I plant to stand on her stump by October

why thank you crosspond Teddy speaking of jet packs, I heard the have waterjet boots, for propelling one's self several meters above the surface of the ocean, I gotta check those out on yoootooob. Hope your plants are happy, I'll stop by Greece soon.

Your greetings have been passed on to the family.

And my alter ego is certainly no pedigree. We found him sad, hungry, wet and abandoned in one of the coastal villages. The first night we brought him home he was so frightened that I actually stayed with him while Mrs T went to bed. Now he will NEVER leave my side. I think he wants to spend the rest of his life saying . He has the sweetest nature. He's asleep next to me right now with two of the kittens curled up on top of him.

It's like a blooming cute-fest round here. I'm off to do something manly - like water and feed my girls.
