Re: WTF! Watch This Flux, 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing, presents "Fluxy Lady" fully restra

here are some branches that were removed and cleaned, all mold is far from my yard..

SNS fungicide seems to be helping with spore-control.

RADO posted a great tutorial on washing bud after harvest, :thanks: RADO!! that was very helpful:thumb:

Found this on White Widow during daily inspection/scrutinization of the family,

looks like the moths will lay eggs on vegging plants, after all.

about the size of a pinhead.

:thankyou: M&Ms your comments never fail to be , so very UP-lifting :green_heart:

Maybe it's time to plan something like a greenhouse, where those evil flying things won't make their way in?

PS: Those branches look delicious, I would chew them like a doggy

 you catch on quick daTenshi, great recovery switching your cat-smak with, dog-smak, :thankyou: for the kind words daT:high-five:

the fresh bud is quite stinky & very sticky, I have some earlier trimmings that cured enuf to sample, I'm liking it!

I'm dropping the "c". Seeing smack is as bad as seeing "mainlining"(LA fixed that by creating a word) ,

last I would want is to upset the teacher, lol.

Here's that family portrait you asked about:

20140720_5a.JPG

Strawberry girl in the orange pot revegging and just putting out normal growth. She's got a unique fruity aroma I really like. She's going in the ground

Miss Kitty in white revegging w/ about 10 of her seeds sprouting around her. She made a lot of nanners, but she also had some light leaks and other stresses. Might have to quarantine her.

Rescued bonsai White Widow in the redneck airpot recovering well - a cutting from her in the little grey pot.

Behind are 7 more - clones - hopefully from Strawberry Girl or at least Miss Kitty. I lost track, but I'll know once they start to smell.

:Namaste:

I washed some the same way except with lemon juice - think I'll try the Key Lime!

Washing is the way to go for sure - sounds drastic, but really not much wetter than rain or foliar spray, and they dry quickly.

As an experiment I washed about 3oz fresh weight. Then I let the buckets settle overnight, poured off most of the water and filtered the rest to collect the residue from all three, and let it dry. Through a loupe I could see some obvious dirt, hairs, a couple tiny bugs, etc., and I removed the worst. The rest was sand colored, and sand to powder texture. And it sparkled in the light and I could see it was partly broken trichomes.

So, of course, I tried a hit. It tasted like hash and dirt - clean dirt, but harsh - and was pretty potent.

So trichomes are lost in the washing process. But from what dried to more than an ounce there was only enough residue for two hits, and half of that was dirt. An insignificant amount not worth the trouble to recover.

And it really smells and tastes better and smokes smoother!

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

nug/branches look GREAT!!!!

I used Doc Bud's washing formula. His includes H2O2. Looking good trichomes. :thumb:

Def dont wanna skip the H2O2, it is what helps kill any mold/mildew spores, if i were to only do one wash with the water following it would be the H2O2. Ive been washing my buds for 3 or 4 months now and love love it.

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

After the wash, I let drip dry for about 8 hours or until it was not wet to the touch. Then I hung in my usual fashion for a few days, then a few in the jar, then a few more hanging.

I don't think hanging with a light is a good idea. Light degrades the trichomes. And He wouldn't like that would ya trichomes?? :)

:geek: buying motion lights on-line?

Nah, I decided they would draw unwanted attention to the fire escape girls by coming on during the night from anything as just the wind blowing on the plants.

Hi trichs,

Looking Good!

I did get back to you a couple days ago but it slipped thru the cracks - there was a lot going on - no matter - here it is again:

re: "Somewhere on this site someone posted" I didn't mention that it was about my second day of poking around the site randomly. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a thread or topic, but just a single comment within, maybe, someone's outdoor grow journal. He didn't offer any more details - just plan your grow so that you flip to 12/12

a month before the last frost date and then move her on out. :thumb:

:hmmmm: thanks slowgro, my apologies :passitleft:, it was a bit overwhelming in here back then,

most noobs got out of here, never to return, lol. you are not that guy. do i o an answer to a question??

FROST, is something that has never occurred in these parts, the ocean being so close & never below 55°,

eliminates any chance for frost. 5 miles inland, they can see frost, but not in my yard.

why did this come up today :hmmmm:, i'm lost here. :lot-o-toke:
