Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restrained

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Here is a shot of the whole family of 5. Fluxy Lady, Cybil (nice fat buds), Purple Kush Muxy (stump re-vegging nicely)

and the 2 new baby girls, NoLie & OmG (N. Lights & OG) All one big, very happy :circle-of-love:

Hi trichomes. Great group shot!
I also was impressed by the Ladybugs. Apparently one of them is a Manbug.
Your picture of NoLie topped is probably the best picture I've seen. Topping instruction threads would do well to link it.

I don't get what the forbidden acronym has to do with hard drugs. :hmmmm: Maybe I'm not up to date on my street lingo?

The Northern Lights we have is great! At some point I hope to have four strains in perpetual grow, and NL will be one of them.
Here, try some :passitleft:

Tonight I transplant my White Widow from cup to pot. My last transplanting of the two unidentified seeds was a disaster. My handling of the plants reminded me of a history channel show I watched about Genghis Khan's horde overrunning a village. I didn't kill 'em though, so maybe I made them stronger :MoreNutes: All three of my little babies seemed happy and healthy this morning.

:adore: K :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:. :goodjob: :thankyou: 106.7 KROQ!

Thanks KROQ! :high-five: I would love to keep you coming back to my yard more often :circle-of-love: I just crave posts like yours above you have great humor mixed into a great grow-topic share. IMO, that kind of post is something I love to read & learn while reading, with a smile :)
The strain name for GSC was deleted because it relates to a "children topic" that is the no, no.

The forbidden strain name defines the acronym, you are correct about hard drug strain names, too, they are not allowed either. There is a 420 thread on the strain & bean names that are allowed. I'll try to find it. It's probably in one of those msgs I get when I have fluxed up and had shirt removed by staff.

And, thanks for your compliments on the NoLie topped seedling & my family photo from yesterday.
Come back and make me laugh again, soon KROQ :passitleft: take the fatty with you

she's back to her size (but w much more low growth) when the trouble started,

big difference in new growth below the tops, she has been filling in quite a bit.

Will she stay under the wall?

reply over or under, for a chance to win the prize

comments PLEASE on how tall she'll be, when she's done.

She's looking Gorgeous!! :bravo: :green_heart:

Well - she's got 10-12 weeks to veg - I'd say the only way she stays below the wall is if (with your guidance) she grows about 12ft wide.

What's on the other side?

Could you frame up something temporary to go maybe 2ft higher and 8ft wide?

Thanks for the comment slowgro :thumb: (12 feet?) she's just under 3 feet across / a few inches under, 1 meter wide,

& under 2 feet/ 60 cm tall, now. On the other side of the wall is the potential for plant thieves &/or 5-O.

I think we'll be safe, but if she vegges through the summer, some 420 outdoor growers have told me that she could easily go over.

If she does, it won't be the first plant that i've had to tie down. I had one tied down last year, it looked like a horseshoe!

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

She won't go over Im pretty sure. Also what needs to be done is stop worrying about the lower stems, it's probably not doing much to restrain them now, what needs to be focused on is the pliable growth at the tips, those need to be anchored with long strings so that they can grow horizontally outward in all directions, as slow grow said, with the long vegetation period that we are going to see, it will give her time to spread her wings. That is on an ideal setting, I'm not so sure we'd want to do that to her, I'd be inclined to just let her grow right like that and let her see what she wants to do. She has been through a lot.... just depends, if you did do it, you'd really have to do it in terms of actual low stress training, meaning give it a lot of slack the first day, and then decrease the slack day by day... would be a ton of work but could be spectacular if you didn't snap any branches off. She's pretty woody though so would be a big gamble trying to tie those things down beyond comfortable means. :surf:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Interesting, training from the top, outwards. I'll be giving this a lot of thought.

As far as releasing the limbs now???, the limbs will immediately, all converge towards the center, decreasing the current width.

I noticed that happened, right after the transplant, when she was unrestrained for 2 weeks, in hospice.

hmmmmmm?

all i know, it's going to be interesting & fun :cheertwo:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Quick drive by. "how much veg time' is left. and her strain. If she has a monster in her, and you still have 2-3 months she could easily go over. Something like a White Widow will stay small.
She is one impressive bush. You can see all the time invested topping and training. I'm going to be looking back for sure.

thanks les, i'm getting better at my comprehension everyday, my grade school teachers used to make read with a piece of paper under the line for reading, i hated it, but looking back, I wish I took them more seriously.

:passitleft: :thankyou: i always like your input here :thumb::circle-of-love:

thanks Norcal,:thumb: I appreciate your jumping in here. She is from a seed that was 4 labeled piles, that spilled & became one pile.

She is purple kush, OG (kush), Sacramento or NLights, can you share anything about these four with me? That wood be great.

I'm glad you like her, we have no idea when she'll stop vegging, she was started indoors under 24 hours, dropped to 18,

then kept outside about 3-4 weeks now. Looking forward to your return to see her progress :circle-of-love:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I see your in southern Cali. I know your weather alittle different. More subtle in changes like summer to fall ect. It is alittle outta my comfort zone as to when things will finish there. But you defiantly have the place to grow just about any strains. From all I know or have heard is the Purple Kush is a fairly easy one indoors. She doesn't grow outta hand inside. I've not heard anything about a strain called Sacramento. And I've got first hand with the northern lites many times. Great plant. I've only grown her once outdoors tho and she got around 7' tall. OG now she can be anything from a 5'X5' bush to 10'. Given you put her in dirt, that's going to help do a monster. Plants grow to allotted size. And the root ball has a lot to do with that. If she starts to get outta had it seems you know how to top real well. After alittle thought, I don't think she's going to stay under your wall without alittle work. Wish I could help more..... Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

I vote under and she is looking amazing Trich..... I pinched off the second node 2 days ago so my little AK fluxer is on her way. She looks good to me and is loving the sunshine. What really is amazing is watching her after it rains. You can almost see her growing....:circle-of-love:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Chap :) The family look awesome! You should definitely keep working her open. Id tether branches at higher points to get better leverage. Then if needed you could supercrop each limb 3qrts way up and collapse each top outwards. Well apart from the side bang next to the wall.
Anyway she looks great as do your others my friend! :)

:thumb: great share buddy, what do u mean by "tethering for leverage"?

I understand the other tips u shared, just not clear on this one :thankyou::circle-of-love:

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

It basically means the same thing as when I said we need to anchor long strings from some of the fresh growth at the tops (because you have more leverage with flexibility)

On another note, I would like to invite everyone to a neat outdoor grow by one of our fellow members Lem's 2014 Outdoor Grow Journal

Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine

Training it outwards will expose more bud sites also, you might end up with A "Great Circle of Buds".
