Re: Watch This Flux - 1st 420 Outdoor Fluxing - Presents Fluxy Lady - Fully Restraine
Yeah I mean its April 20 in socal, and most people have had plants outside since February lol. Although I've had plants outside since January. I know your a little north, not quite socal IMO
you should really consider the floating row cover frost prevention material that I use (by Agribon), even though its 50-60 F at night it's still about 70 F in the tent and the plants stay perked up and happy over night. Being so close to the ocean keeps us insulated too, but generally, humans are slightly more sensitive to small changes in temperature than the plants are. Plants are more sensitive to large changes in temperature. 48 F is about the minimum I would be happy with, but as we've discussed we want to keep our average temperature at about 70 F so I really like this fabric.
I've tried discussing this before just a couple weeks ago when you ran out of meds and I asked if you were going to start force flowering immediately, well it has shown those 2 weeks were really important. If you start flowering this plant you will end up with a nice small plant. OZ told me to step away from Fluxy lady, but I was just trying to help see to it a harvest of some kind
knowing you had ran out of meds... personally, I'm into the mode of force flowering as soon as possible (of decent veg size) and then obtaining the harvest and then repeating the process continually, but those plants that grow all 6 months can be MEGA rewarding...
However, think about this. If you keep the plant in veg the same way you are until late May or the June solstice, and then you then left her to grow through the summer and flower in fall, even though she would require massive maintenance, it might be one
incredible outdoor fluxing, and if its flowered toward fall, it would yield much much more.
So it's up to you, if you had no way to acquire meds other than growing it for yourself, I would have kicked it into force flower 2-3 weeks ago just to see to it a harvest.
It's really hard to see a plant grow like that for over 6 months, you become so attached, and be detached from her gets tough, she becomes a longing memory, and especially when all of the growth of over 6 months become especially vulnerable to an treacherous threat at any time. So weighing the options, you could force flower her now (because she'll go back into veg in June), or let her go to her full potential. Either way your going to have to dig a hole because of how low the wall is.
