My experience with that theory of a civilian counterpart is bull. I was a trained aircraft and helicopter structural mechanic and absolutely nothing came out of that because civilian aircraft mechanical jobs rejects any military training as woefully inadequate...

I know she's an insecure person and physically inactive so I tried to recommend the Coast Guard, Air Force or even the Navy. Convincing her that they are less physical and more cerebral than they used to be is not just TV hype.

All three will keep her further away from combat than the Army or Marines. I don't know about the US armed forces, but in Canada the Army and Navy have the longest deployments, and are hardest on family life. My daughter is an MP working investigations. That's working out well for her.

I was an electronic technologist in our Navy. That carried over, although I didn't pursue it. I used the training funds available for post-service re-training to obtain my MCSE (Microsoft Certified System's Engineer) status.

This plant didn't like being unbelted and was literally falling to peices and fragmenting heavy branches. The leaves were still half green but my only recourse was to harvest the old girl (by the numbers).

The roots were flushed and drained and removed from the plant, she's hanging upside down in a dark ventilated tent and it's just a day or two before I trim it up, then rehang it all for 3 or 4 days for drying.

I'm studying up on good and safe methods of curing. (again, by the numbers).

Gees, it's quite around here..

Penny,
Your doubts about my dreaming for a pound looks considerably more likely at this point. It's all depending on those ginormous flower tops to set the standard for the popcorn buds to make up the rest... but, I'm unsure of what the weight will be after drying.

The harvest is going okay so far.

Because it's boiling hot and humid,
I decided on wet-trimming because this time of year the weather is the equivalent of the monsoon season; Storms, rain, hot and very, wet and humid everyday.

My research says trimming wet allows safer drying in these conditions (wet plant, on top of the humid air adds more risks mold and mildew). The buds need to dry slowly so, If it was hot and "dry air", dry trimming allows the leaves to help to provides slower drying.

Any way. That plant is done and wow does the grow room look empty. So it's on to the next batch.

Itis drying nicely.

After drying and trimming == 150 grams.

I'm neither happy nor disappointed.

Leaving it alone to cure is gonna be a little tight because everybody I smoke the uncured samples with is begging me for more; all saying how good it really is and not a properly cured sample is at least 2 weeks away.

But for the time being, I'm dispensary free.

OKAY NOW! One "half-assed" but very very tasty plant is in the books!!! On to bigger and better things.

This begins the flowering stages for two maturing autoflowering and 4 new auto CBD seedlings.

After which 1 or more chemdawg photoperiod if the strain is a powerhouse...

If the offer still stands pennywise, I "might" be able to swing about 3 beans for $60 including shipping (that a is offered by Seed King) and if that's one of our sponsors, hopefully, I'm in!

Thanks to all.

And for making my first grow much easier.

That price might be doable. I'll know after all the bills clear the bank.

I wouldn't mind growing a second Killer Nuke CBD to have as a blended cannabis cocktail... it's a very potent strain.

I don't have any serious family expenses this month and I will see what's leftover in about a week or 10 days.
