question, i notice the CFLs you are using. Compare those to say 400HPS light. i mean you grow looks awesome, and if you are only using the cfl light then that's awesome., you see i only veg for like 12 to 18 days, and it would be so much more convenient to use CFLs for that purpose. could you elaborate your opinion please?
I read a book by Seemour Seeds where he grew a "mango" strain from seed alongside two blue dot clones.
He used only 43 watt Warm White Cfls and vegged for 16 days i think, because he wanted to keep it small. the stretch occurred and it still got quite big. He kept adding cfls as it grew and flowered it out in 69 days from seed.
I tried this with clones, rooted in two weeks and only vegged for 2 weeks (14 days)
They were never repotted after rooting.
I had to keep them small because of the wardrobe space.
After 63 days of 12/12 I harvested and I noticed that the roots didn't fill out the pot!
I think from seed 2 or 3 weeks is ok, but with clones 4 weeks.
Important is that the rootball fills the pot.
If you want bushy tight nodes, use warm white cfls (2700K, 3000K) ,
if you want taller plants with faster growth, use cool white cfls (6000K),
Otherwise just mix and match.
