Yes it is worth it, for sure. You just have to start topping, and training the plant early to spread out. Obviously you will need to veg for longer so it fills in the trellis, say 6-8 weeks. Once it fills the screen and you start to flower you can get over a pound out of 1 plant easily, if you do it right. All IMHO...

I've got 2 plants in a 3 feet x 2 feet cabinet that I hope to get over a 1/2 pound with (day 4 of flower now). Both plants were in veg for almost 7 weeks to fill in my net.

Wow - Youre greenhouse girls are great!!! That rhymes:) I love the 2 you have in the hempie bags or whatever theyre called - you ve done well with the training and are they first generation or are they mother plants? Just cos I noticed the thick main stem..
And about the lighter green color on the newer shoots, it looks normal to me - my girl is doing the same and she shouldnt be low on N. I just believe your gals are just working;) Did you recently trim them or something did you, in regard to comment " theyre recovering well '
I attacked Teresa a few times of late, today being her main CHOP CHOP day, I took about 16 fans from her, I dont like doing this, but she is too bushy at present so stripping out the fans that are shading/blocking light to lower branch shoots..
I also adjusted 5 branches, and now she s spread out so the tops of the branches in my last pics are pointing out like this " / " or " \ " that way now instead of straight up, plus I find this a good way to see how much growth she s made over a day as if she s on an angle like that it rectifies itself to bending back and upward to the light again.
I am really impressed with your DIY work mate - since first meeting ya on here, you ve BLOWN UP!! And your skills shine thru, Ipersonally think youre a great grower and are doing well with your training and also your CFL's.. NICE COMBO GROW;)
at a later date I may be able to do another 1 or 2 girls, but for now Ill be doing the single. I am keen to let a girl go outdoors a full season and will prob do 2 indoor. But thats not happening for a while!!

Glad to hear these things, the sativa doms seem to have a little more paranoia factor than the indicas do. Just knowing to expect it almost dismisses the effect. That weed will change too, folks like to let it cure for a good while.....however, I think it's a good thing to smoke it from dry...all the way to a full cure. You will learn and know the embrace of the cannabis....and how her love changes as she matures!
