I read in a South African 4x4 Magazine about them. Some Malawian villages guys had be trained in wood carving by an old Scottish Missionary type. So we hunted them out and bought a Caterpillar road grader from their existing stock and asked they make one of Rhubarb. They’re well practiced, just scribble notes - Defender 90, two Jerry cans, ammo boxes, spare wheels front and back, folding seats in back. We stayed on the lake a few miles away for 4 days and went back and done. Its 16” or 40cm long. The Grader (In UK) is probably double. We shipped them back to the UK from Uganda. That is incredible, who carved it?
Where is the little Lego Nick? In the driver's seat, hehe.
There's nothing to scale it, how big is it?
Love to see that track.
But I'll be lucky to see Montreal some day.

Ooph nearly all those pictures gone from the site (which is online again)
Found these photos so far, the text is all still up. I have about 30 photos of African pool tables.
I don’t think I saw, let alone smoked any weed in Malawi. We were staying in backpackers places too. You’d think of you were going to find it anywhere it would be there!
