I work quite long!

Day starts 9am HKT (8am local) Normal day finish 6pm - but generally everyone in HK works late so a bit later. I go out early at 6pm I generally take my laptop with me. By 8pm I normally know that I’m fine until late But I run a lot of stuff a UK office relies on - they seem to think the only time to contact me is after their lunch 6-7pm. 😅 Then like last resort for UK - that can go on until 10pm local. If its a bigger issue rhen I need to wait for the UK to finish which is 1am-2am local (2am-3am HKT) when ai can start work. Which is normally not more than a couple of hours. So that’s 4am local so I grab 3/4 hours sleep and am back up to check HK for their 8am start. Its common to get requests from Accounts WFH as late as midnight.

If its like that then I try and grab 45 or 90 minutes nap at lunch or late afternoon.

Last year was maybe 1 in 3 days like those roll overs Asia to Europe days. This year maybe 1 in 5.

Last couple of years my laptop goes everywhere with me at the weekend. I find it hard to to say no. I just used to sulk and then have yo go home on my own. I go find somewhere quiet and away from any family/friends and get the hour or so of work out the way or I can’t relax. But generally I have scheduled work maybe 50/52 weekends a year? Downtime for employees means I can interrupt services for maintenance.

Yeah long hours! Makes we feel every ache I’ve had this week hunched over a keyboard. At least posting here I only use my phone, actually I use my phone for 70% of work too. I can normally just recite how to resolve issues - but real problems different story, laptop.

Anyway I can’t complain.

I do ok, I’m very fortunate to have the lifestyle I do, that’s just one client btw! 90 hours is normal though.

The kids and & Co have a bit more fun!

Anyway growing helps chill me out. Much simpler things!

Including this beaut SIP in a solo pot!

ITV started in 1955 and you’re not that old! But BBC2 only in ‘64 so maybe its eas BBC1 and ITV?

Cost the same as the black ones. Next grow its Back to Black. Speaking of which. - the postal service don’t like 15G Airpots for international shipment. So I discovered a couple of weeks back. Maybe I have a solution. And Rollys Royce please, my good man.

You are always available and it made wonder if you actually take a break to sleep.
It could be worse, you could drive a snow plow here, no sleep for those guys either. :rofl:
Works out well though, nice to be at home.
And working weekends doesn't seem to slow you down.
You get time with the family and your gardens are full swing. :yahoo:
Best of both worlds, good for you.

I thought it was new, I guess.
They were talking about Neil Armstrong, I remember it well.

Speaking of which, I drove Stacey's new car.
It's the same size as my 76 pinto.
I'm not used to small cars anymore.
But Wholy Molly it flies.
It's no Ferrari but those paddle shifters are a ball.
You just have to remember to downshift. ;) Oops hehe.
If &Co gets her license, it's a pretty fun car to drive and safe.
Safer than those scooters for sure.
How hard is it to get a license there?

Finally, but we had a frost warning yesterday.
Things are improving but not clear of the cold just yet.
I really need to start my outside garden.
