Deliveries get mixed up because our actual mailing address is a P.O. box.Ah man the post is one thing, for me my biggest frustration delivering has to be the maps because it decides to take you some pretty stupid routes that don't make sense and won't work at all. All the time... lol it's the story of my life. The time I waste figuring out locations sometimes lol.. hey Bill I know your looking for a good line to run and I'm not all against AN because it's all clean and is from Canada so would just be the easiest thing to roll with but I Know they are hefty cost wise when you get into their inoculates,.. I say to people try this and try this side by side, and how you feel about it; make your observations to see what did better for you, and your plants specifically.
Like had a cheeselicious in soil do better than the hydro, same set up with a strawberry amnesia in a bigger soil pot do great yield wise, but her same cut in hydroponics was so beautiful and tasted so much better so it is the plant too that will also let you know what it likes more. It's nice that a hydro system you can just empty everything and run all clean water, vs a soil flush which can take a while to manually do. Do you flush? Or I know my organic heads out their will just plain water for the last wk or 2 and call it a flush which is technically not a true flush but if it wasn't overfed, it doesn't need a real flush I feel with any synthetic you really should do true flush, and even intermediate flushes to keep the medium from building up and being out the appropriate parameters nutrient wise for the next life stage as that is always changing too. Like yea the plants take some but it will collect in the medium too.
I would run AN but have gotten into using other things, but their Mother Earth Teas for grow and bloom with natural ingridients for any medium and style of growing they have other orgsnic base nutrients too but their supplements are some of the best in the industry no doubt.
But was saying about the Key Grow stuff, I meant to say the Green Dragon boost is the one with the added sulfur not all the formulas have the sulfur.. like the cal mag is plain cal mag, cal Nitrate, the industry standard. 3% so it's a 3-0-0... but it's different it is dye free ah see.. I haven't used it much lately because I been using GH 3 part Micro for the same purpose, it has a lot more going on and is far more cheaper for me.
You know, one of my favorite companies also in your homeland, Future Harvest Development. Tons of good stuff and affordability for sure.
Then this one company, Holland Industry has some pretty hardcore stuff that's also in Canada, so you Bill get expedited shipment from them. I was able to get the Stimul8r from them, haven't seen it here for years and was like 50$ cheaper for me from them, vs. the store here.
But I just picked up AN pH down yesterday, it feels pretty heavy for 1 L, it's that concentrated. He said it makes a good bloom boost, it has an npk of 0-55-0 so it should last me around 3 years at least. The stores here haven't been able to get gh ph down in quarts because there's a supply issue so I was gonna get a gallon bc that's what they had but figure why not try the AN they are reputable only 2 bottles left of theirs, why not. The nice thing I liked with gh is I have a consistent thing with using a dropper and having 1 dropper full be good for 4 L, or gallon or was a perfect teaspoon to a bucket of water.
I love your story Bill, was a plumber, who learned to frame then built custom homes. I love it! I see you did great work on the frame for this, and well, everything the cement board too the seem work its all very spot on. maybe you can give me some pointers on my greenhouse I'm gonna frame pretty soon.
I like the idea of those base concrete blocks, I always seen those and never realized that's what those are for.. how dumb of me time for myself to get a different light up my old LED has something going on, half the lights aren't working. Maybe someone local can fix it for me bc im not the best with that gizmo soldering I have tried to fix an LED once and ruined it.
The Pj's are a Costco special.Your a pure inspiration for anyone who is into home gardening, guess being a jack of all trades helped to create this dream lab.
Lol your too funny about the lab coat joke keeping your pajamas clean that made my day!
Hope all is well for you too my friend!
Good vibes!
Good Morning G.B. how are you doing my friend?Love the new grow room Bill!
Won't take you long man!Good morning @GreenFingaz
They were dry as can be in those pics.
I'm having issues with the environment.
Setting the floor heating correctly is providing harder than I thought.
My rh has completely gone crazy with the warmer weather now.
I've got a Growhub to install now so I can get the environment settled properly.
It's a new set up so I expected some surprises.
Took me a long time to dial in my previous facility I'm hoping it's much quicker here.
I'll get it figured out but the ladies are still growing in the meantime.
Hope your weekend is going well Amigo.
Take care.

Good morning con.looking good filling out nicely
I have a couple hundred pics to post still.Sooo I replied to purple pics quoting your Vivohut and thought I haven't seen an update on this in a while not knowing there's a 27 page journal looking great though bill I just emptied all my air pots and had great roots inside them just a quick wash and ready for round two
That pic is 1981, I'm just 15.NICE ROOTS!! More roots more fruits!
I am a big fan of your blend my friend has some really excellent coco he has been reusing an always adds some bokashi and the like.. I haven't gotten into bokashi but am using fish tanks waste and water so a similar concept but not the same thing.
You know I forget theres addresses on poles at the road but sometimes.. well a lot of the times there isn't so rely on the address to be seen on the mailbox if there's one at the road, half the time I see it on the house I can barely see it at night.. a good bunch of them because they don't have their light on for me or even have numbers but that is more rare lol.. I would get really tired of your run around with getting things. Sounds like headache after headache..gets easier. lol ok.OK.. I am still hopeful I see even though it took a while that made it more secure in the end done proper and time to settle. I find taking time on things you don't cut corners and everything just fits right into place like it should like perfectly filling a room or tent to fill up with a sea of big beautiful colas.
Yea you definitely need a connection with a company for sure with the quantity of nutrient you require. FhD, and AN are the 2 I would look into seeing maybe if they could send you a hook up for how much you use wouldn't be any trouble for them. Would love to see the companies representing the community they specialize their nutrients for not saying they don't have trouble selling.
You can forsure get some high, pun intented, content viewers if you take it to the tube or Insta, it will be more likely to get sponsored from a company and nutrients from them on the regular basis as needed.
But yean the dude at indoor gardens said it would makes a good bloom boost and I said well yea I suppose.. I haven't used any yet but am gonna do my testing on ppms and the like.
Speaking of labs, he mentioned when he worked for a facility that treated everything like it was a lab; they calibrated their meters everyday and the head scientist said their meter just under a value of around 1,000.00$ USD was mediocre..and that's me changing the words he said the scientist said the 900$ meter was junk.
But when looking into the AN pH down, found people saying use 1/10th of the amount you are used to using with the current down we have been on. Which is 35% so who would have ever thought pH down was flower and root fuel
It never dawned on me until recent years and have always never co sidereal boosting with down.. seems like a lot of pH up to buffer all the acid just so the plant doesn't lock out from using it to boost.. I mean my current down doesn't really add quite that many numbers to the ppm.
From a scientific standpoint, plants don't need so much, they respond to 30 parts per million of phosphorous. A fresh batch of water with some pH down. Done deal.
I am curious though if anyone has boosted using the pH down and stabilizing with up or silica and other stabilizers maybe like gypsum or dolomite or calcium/ magnesium carbonates..
We all in a way are boosting without realizing just by doing the pH adjustments. It's like they are more demanding than we think, maybe their "munchies" gets gifted to whoever consumes them heheh
I love how they are looking though that is all roots Bill!! Way to go!!!!..
Oh yeah and I forgot I meant to mention,
getting to know you a litte I am surprised you aren't someone who is like in their mid 20's to mid 30's becuase you used to have a picture of a motocross rider as your icon. So you totally surprised me man, never would have guessed your real age not that it matters that is just a number but thought you and the lady would get a kick out of that haha
If that light is acting up , the potential for an issue is already there.Yeah, 27 pages! Sorry Bill!, making this short because although I said it all, I forgot a couple more things
You're right, the light is probably worth retiring entirely it got its share of use for me. Better safe than sorry, I think I will put it aside till I have some playing money and figure out what it needs and have possibly refurbished with the company which I doubt will touch my light now. And or one of them fix it guys, I know a dude who is good with motherboards and that type stuff, micro managing electronics.
I was gonna figure for my greenhouse I'm gonna need a light so that would end up getting relocated to the greenhouse for starting things and running on the darker days.
Your cement work is on point!, I enjoy working with cement, mixing it pouring it, never got to finishing but I know I can finish I finish plaster walls just fine.
Might go back to construction but am gonna be getting into brewing possibly, some bartending and micro greens farming and getting what I would be paid to do construction so it's tough call but I love food and want to be in the kitchen too and so thats also on the agenda for this new job.
Your girls must be loving their new air pots, I take it you had an exhausting weekend uppotting them lovely ladies. Lol
I had some accidents at home and burned myself a little but other than that the weekend was eventful and rolled nicely to this week.
How was your weekend?
Have a great week Bill!
