Anyone else ever get conflicted chopping the most beautiful thing you ever grew.
The color is absolutely stunning.
Covered in a perfect layer of frost.
This is seriously painful to chop down.
But has to be finished today.

That’s debatable ATM.
I was approached by a seed sponsor mid summer.
I told them when I was finished the greenhouse I’d offer them my services.
So it’ll either be new seeds.
Or Apple Betty & Purple Kush again.
Can’t beat them for quality and quality.
Brilliant strains.

Around now I can use the heat from the lamp and the dehum to keep us dryish
Should get a harvest Jan/Feb ready for the summer run, OG Kush probably but I've been sent some Asteroid Moon Juice Banana Mega Head Fuck Super Sherbet Orange Sunrise Alien Purple Pounder Blue Cheese Lemon Purple Daddy Poison Cheesy Cough, [AKA AMJBMHFSSOSAPPBCLPDPCC] so I might try that

You got Cushioned scissors? Blisters?
I don't know how you can keep at it like this? The last harvest that I hand trimmed, took me 9 days (because I $uck at it), and I ended up getting a Bowl trimmer! The same size harvest using the Bowl Trimmer was done in less than a day.
With such a Huge job, why do you choose to hand trim?

No cushioned scissors, infact I only have 1 hand.
Put a sprayer tube through my left hand disrupting the nerves and control.
So just holding a branch while trying to trim is difficult.
I have a Bowl trimmer for emergencies.
But those buds were so perfect and beautiful putting them in the grinder/spinner scalps them and I just couldn't do it.
I do this every fall, always have.
Usually 2 weeks straight ending by Halloween if I'm lucky.
I have a pound or so left to hand trim on Bubba Whip and Purple Kush combined after that I'm inclined to spin the rest.
The Vibe Shift is still way behind.
So I think since I have @Rexer coming today with his electric trimmer I might just spin her today and be done.
After 9 months work it's hard to say fek it and give up like that and just spin her.
But frost tomorrow and she doesn't have time to mature.
But basically to answer your question I do it because I love doing it.
