Virgin Voyage Grow 2021

Nice thank you for sharing. I'm definately not skilled at watering yet.
You’ll get there. It seems overwhelming sometimes but learning to water properly really slowed me down & is helping me tune into the plants rhythm. This allows me to focus on what they need now & not worry about what comes next. Patience is now my mantra...

Hi @Amazingvitality & welcome. I'm a newbie here too - my 1st grow I started before I joined here - ended up with one female Purple Haze - starting 5th week of flower - have 5 clones from her vegging. Also, just started my 2nd grow Girl Scout Cookie - have 6 seedlings.

Your plants look healthy - glad that the humidity issues haven't been an issue. In my vast experience (haha), I keep my seedlings inside a dome until they are outgrowing that. Also, I've put plastic zip bags with a bit of water misted inside to cover the plant - keeps the humidity high on the leaves.

Love the vibes you are giving your plant with moon water and crystals :) :hippy:

Lol hippies love the stuff. Me included. I've been misting the leaves 3 or 4 times a day it helps me feel more involved with their growth. I admit patience is being learned. I sing a mystical song my daughter wrote to them once a day. Unicorns merpeople phoenix witches angels fairies. Very enchanting. So thank you for noticing.

I'm scared to crop my plants because the top seems to be the most aggressive growing and I'm not sure I have five nodes yet. Comments suggestions
How many sets of aposing branches do you see?
Bill

I have 6 nodes. 5 then the cluster on top.
I went 3 full grows before I had the strength to top seriously. At that time I was against going online because I was in a state that didn’t support my plant. It was my wife that convinced me to do it. I held my breath while doing it and swear it was like changing a newborns diaper the first time :nervous-guy: Never looked back after! Research the proper way(there are a couple methods) on topping your girls. In my history the worst case I’ve ran into is the plant was slow to grow for maybe a week to a week and a half tops... after that you will have a huge smile on your face I promise. You will excitedly count the nodes throughout the cycle and your smile will get even bigger! Good luck and love following your progress. Your in luck here, it’s like having 50 Bill Nye the Science Guys(and gals) at your back!

Love it and the support is fabulous. I have three plants that I hope to take two clones each n I will top then maybe just one though. I guess I feared it would stop growing vertically. Does it?

On a side note I've been searching hydroponics deep water methods for the clones. Another light investment however I'm really in this for the experience and understanding.

Peace all, who cares if you howl at the pink full moon.

Well I made the investment. Soon I will have a hydro garden to journal about. Starting with these clones just waiting for week 7. Most likely transplant into 5 gal pots. I've been told the veg cycle is 8 weeks I feel like mine might need longer what is the average veg period?

It’s definitely going to grow up, especially if you are just doing LST. If you want to keep the canopy level then you will be doing a lot of tying down and re-tying down quite often. She always reaches for the sky!

So I was anxious to water my plants this morning with their full moon energized water. Much to my surprise, they took 3 cups to run off. Ouch waited too long. No more than 10 days next time. So this time I'll be looking to water around 8 days . Again keeping a watchful eye.

They never had any signs of drooping.which may be because I mist the leaves so it's been getting some of it's water needs with this method

Yeah if I cut them now they only have 2 weeks to recover. Supposedly 8 weeks veg will be up. Then I was told to switch to flower. I personally think my plants don't look big enough but getting there. Not knowing how tall the should be has me wondering about veg time
