Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

Wonderful! I have one of those green and black ones and love it so I can see how a clear one would work perfect for this.

Great to hear you are doing stuff again and those shelf's are great to spare your back with. Remember to think and meassure twice about the height, I made mine after Canna mono bottles but never thought about their 5L cans when I made mine. Sounds can get enhanced and amplified though, I had an Idea of keeping my air pump under there but it got far too noisy due to the amplification through the space under the tents. Will be wesome to see some pics of your build later. :)
This was a college build. Cinder blocks and a piece of 1/2" MDF. I'll pretty the front up later on when I have more disposable time and funds. I had to do this as cheap as possible. I only spent $15.
I have pics of my projects in my Junk Drawer link in my sig.
Holy smokes! Congratulations VG!! Will be super fun to see those lights burning in your grow! :)

Hope I get something good as well soon... Coz I'm waiting too... LoL
These lights are supposed to last at least 15 years at 18/6 and 20 yrs at 12/12.
I think I'm set for lights for quite awhile.

I hope something great comes your way too CraZ.
I don't have an understanding of what's important in a color/temp chart. I do see the difference in the way a plant stands at attention and follows the light and buds up. The @NextLight Core has that magic.
Don't be tricked by the closeness that can be had. In the end I burned most all of the top leaves with light, keeping it a few inches from the canopy. A price was paid, maybe it was a good thing, I'm not sure yet since the grow went so well.
Thank you for the warning.
I'll try to keep them in the correct range. For my garden it is no higher than 700-800 ppfd. After that it's only stress to the plant.
I think it's 18" for this light but I'm not certain. I feel asleep reading about it. I should probably read that again.

Good morning btw.
:passitleft:

Looks fantastic Virgin Green! Nicely done!!
Well thank you MrS. I've had my share of anxiety over this grow. I hope I have it buttoned down now.
I had to give the tallest plant last grow over 1000 in order to give the others a fair share. I noticed a few of the colas in lesser bright spots growing fuzzier trichomes earlier. So your 7-800 may be on spot.
I read an article about it and if I can find it again I'll post it here.

Sorry about the identical pics between here and my WSE journal. Some people only follow this journal. Thought I'd show them what else I've been up to.

Heading over... :)

Love that custom door for your grow room behind GG. Plants look super green :)

There can probably be several reasons a plant get burnt but the heat radiation differes from different colors probably due to amplitude of the wave lengths. Test it by setting these lights in only veg then only bloom and keep your hand close you will feel the difference. Cool / warm lights... :)

Nice try CraZ, no switch for that. Good idea though. Might have been plain ol heat.

Cross your fingers for me. I really, really hope they deliver to the correct house tomorrow.
I'm so nervous about it my tum-tum hurts.
No whammies...big bucks!!!

:goodluck:

Maybe a bigger Christmas tip for the postman last year would have helped?
Hmmmm....
Maybe I should just stop putting mousetraps and fake snakes in my mailbox for starters?
Keeps em on their toes.
They need to stay alert!

I'm just kidding. I would never.

Anyhoo...
I mostly revamped the clone area . Added back my SMD but kept the tank light for now. I may grab another SMD in the future.

See you put on your Halloween avatar again Vg
Good afternoon CraZ.
I put her up a little late this year.
Just completely slipped my mind.
It's going to be weird not trick or treating this year. We are having a small family party instead.
We will try our best to have a good time but it's going to be very strange.
The kids seem like they are taking it well.

How are you CraZ??

This will be the first time since we bought the house (23 years ago) that we will be dark on Halloween. We usually have between 100 and 200 kids come by. We're a drop-off neighborhood for a lot of the surrounding area.
All Snickers and Almond Joys can be forwarded to me....

I would but they would probably end up at your neighbor's house...

...or maybe not!

:yahoo: and congratulations. Grow on!
That just sounds like a cop-out to me.:laughtwo:
