This was a college build. Cinder blocks and a piece of 1/2" MDF. I'll pretty the front up later on when I have more disposable time and funds. I had to do this as cheap as possible. I only spent $15.Wonderful! I have one of those green and black ones and love it so I can see how a clear one would work perfect for this.
Great to hear you are doing stuff again and those shelf's are great to spare your back with. Remember to think and meassure twice about the height, I made mine after Canna mono bottles but never thought about their 5L cans when I made mine. Sounds can get enhanced and amplified though, I had an Idea of keeping my air pump under there but it got far too noisy due to the amplification through the space under the tents. Will be wesome to see some pics of your build later.
I have pics of my projects in my Junk Drawer link in my sig.
These lights are supposed to last at least 15 years at 18/6 and 20 yrs at 12/12.Holy smokes! Congratulations VG!! Will be super fun to see those lights burning in your grow!
Hope I get something good as well soon... Coz I'm waiting too... LoL
I think I'm set for lights for quite awhile.
I hope something great comes your way too CraZ.
Thank you for the warning.I don't have an understanding of what's important in a color/temp chart. I do see the difference in the way a plant stands at attention and follows the light and buds up. The @NextLight Core has that magic.
Don't be tricked by the closeness that can be had. In the end I burned most all of the top leaves with light, keeping it a few inches from the canopy. A price was paid, maybe it was a good thing, I'm not sure yet since the grow went so well.
I'll try to keep them in the correct range. For my garden it is no higher than 700-800 ppfd. After that it's only stress to the plant.
I think it's 18" for this light but I'm not certain. I feel asleep reading about it. I should probably read that again.
Good morning btw.
