I plant lemon thyme every year. It is just an all around beautiful plant.
I had some lemon drop basil last year. I put it in ice water with just a touch of sugar, or without for that matter. I can wait to smoke some trout with some herbs....oh, mama!

I think I remember that fishing trip. Those were beauties!

Dad taught me to fill a Ziploc with water and the fish
Freezes fantastic, and never any freezer burn
I've always done that ..

That's what my grandpa taught me as well. We usually eat it all right away.
I'll need to get my trout stamp this year. I found a spring fed trout pond near where my son goes to school. The DNR stocks it bi-annually.
 
Just took Tigger to the park, they have the Community Ponds
Guy had a couple nice trout, it's trout stocking season now

I also got some Lemon Basil, Bok Choy, and Garlic chive seeds

Gunna try a herb bucket. Germ inside then move outside in awhile
Couldn't find lemon thyme, so I'll do regular thyme
 
I should try some bok choy. I've never grown it ,but I love it.
I'm going to finally get some asparagus and rhubarb this year.

No way I can do aspsragus here...love it though. If goes on sale a lot for $1.49/lb and I'll buy like 4 bunches

Never grown Bok Choy, but lettuce and cabbage do well here, so I figured I'd try it out

Gunna start germing stuff tomorrow, maybe just do a big Herb Pot, not sure yet

I picked up some spinach seeds yesterday. I'm sick of not trusting the food supply and need my greens. With the weather lately we have not been getting fruits and vegetables as much. The store was out of bananas yesterday,as well as spinach and celery.

I have a question about the MC.
Did y'all decide to run it alone or with Sweet Candy?
What about the bud explosion product? Was there a cal lockout problem?
I'm almost over the flu. Words, sentences and concepts are making more sense. Lol.
I was reading your journal, but I don't think I retained too much. I only have vague recollections of conversations about it.
I am getting ready to flower soon here and would appreciate any thoughts about dosing the bud explosion.

Glad you are enjoying the weather.
I haven't been able to find bok choy yet, but I'm looking!!
Think about planting some mint for your dog. Mine really likes it. I make him mint dog treats or new just eats it.It helps with the doggie breath and digestion. Be careful though, it can spread easily, so do it in a container garden or alone in a pot.
 
1 degree. I am sorry. Still overnights below freezing, going to till this weekend.....

No bok choy is a national emergency in some areas of the country.
 
I made a huge mistake looking for bok choy on eBay. Now I found a whole new world of Asian vegetables. Asparagus lettuce? Chinese long okra? Chinese white pears? Some very cool stuff indeed.

Asparagus Beans ROCK!!

long green beans, and they thrive in my heat
Tasty too, they get like 2' long

My wife loves the white pears, she gets em every time we go to the Asian store

Ok I gotta find Asparagus lettuce!!!!

I looked up those beans. Very cool. Damn those are long.
I grew some scarlet runner beans. They brought the humming birds and butterflies in. My bumble bees loved them. They have long red flower clusters. So pretty.
