Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

A week ago was my Cannaversary at 420 mag.
It's been a pleasure to have found my way to this place and to all of you.
To celebrate this year, I'm not building a closet!
:yahoo:
Ok. I did decide to make my first official seed purchase ever.
You know. Cuz I desperately need more seeds....ahem.
I got 12 strains (36 seeds) for $175.
Made sure to buy tracking and insurance.
My top choice (Dark Star) was sold out. Of course it was. Why wouldn't it be?
So I grabbed some things that I hope will improve my life and got a bunch of freebie seeds to boot.
:woohoo:
My small weed empire is taking shape....bwahahahaha!!!!!
:world-domination:

:ciao: Hi VG! I hope you and your family are well. We spatchcocked a chicken last night and it was delicious. I kept thinking of you and your Thanksgiving dinner. I’m also thinking of making that 420 purchase of seeds....and in no way going to be close to having an empire or domination, but hopefully a good little stockpile of good seeds. Question- I was looking for the Sauga Grows With Virgin Ground journal but I’m a dolt and haven’t found it (and I’m not seeing it in either signature). Can you point me? I want to look at how you trained your Kalashnikov for my next grow. :cheesygrinsmiley: :thanks:
EDIT! Just found the journal! Lol.

That's a handsome puppers you have in your avatar.

I have a chicken in my freezer. You made me want to get my spatchcock on!!

It feels good to buy something that I've picked out of a large catalog.
I have my mind on breeding and refining my own strain.
I would like to spend a few years developing it.
I think it would be really cool to hand something down to my kid/s.

Hopefully a few of the strains that I bought will make a good foundation to build upon.

I did a half-assed quad bastardization on that Kalash.
Enjoy!:passitleft:

And then you trained it nice and wide to fit the tent and waited for just the right time to flip it. It looked mahvelous!
How come when you say stuff it sounds better!?!?

:passitleft:It is the same pup, different pic,in honor of @MrSauga and his black dog avatar.

My hubby is into doing the spatchcock thing so once that’s done I cook it. I found a super easy recipe on Pinterest: Spatchcock Chicken Recipe (VIDEO) - NatashasKitchen.com
I prefer just making a compound butter and slipping slices of it under the skin vice trying to spread it under there and on the chicken...don’t work so well When it’s sloppy! Lol.

yes, it does feel good to pick something you’ve researched and kind of know. I’m not there yet but I am glad to not be so overwhelmed with the seed catalogs. I think I will make another good sized purchase during this 420 celebratory week. I’ve just gotta do some studying!

Hmmm....seems to me your half-assed quad worked out pretty well! :high-five: I’m getting ready to start the WSE GSC a comparative journal with the SP 3000 from Mars Hydro. :nervous-guy:It looks like a beast and I want to really leverage its power while shaping a big ole photoperiod plant into my 2x4. I’ve got the extension on the tent so I have a little extra room. So, Ive seen things called “quad” and also “manifold” so quad = 4 and I think a manifold could have 6 or 8? Anyhow - @InTheShed mentioned your quad of the Kalash as a good guide for my vision so that’s why I asked. Going thru that journal at the moment. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I miss that guy...a lot.
I see small glimpses of him every now and then.

Same here!
I’ve just gotta do some studying!
I tried to prep for the drug test but my first choice was a no go so then I panicked and tried to cram. I think I did ok in the final ordering.

It did. I was surprised.

I rootin for y'all.
WSE has been a great sponsor. Glad to see them fill the void that that one seed company left.

I bet you'll need it. You don't exactly grow tiny plants.

I'm not sure how many there were. I like the number 8 so let's call her a Kalash-o-pus.
Cause he’s a :cheer: and a:love:
True b dat!
Awww...shucks! :battingeyelashes:
You love it and you know it!

Today I finally mixed up soil for the GDP. It was finally calm and warm enough to do it. It's been so cold and blustery here.
The pot was watered after mixing and is hanging out in the bathtub for now.
I'll transplant her in a few days after her herd starts to establish.

My new humidifier came today.
It's working really great so far. I was worried about the size but it takes up about the same amount of space that Mr.Froggy did.
View media item 1823277It's a top fill unit so I will only have to move it bi-monthly to clean it.
View media item 1823276I didn't think I'd need the remote but I actually did. It's really crammed in the tent with my girls and the buttons aren't exactly easy to access.
View media item 1823275It came with a temp readout which I wasn't expecting as well as a five year warranty. It has three mist options , a timer, a humidistat and can be set to your desire rh level (five percent increments) between 40 and 90%.
I have seven days to enter a code so it is covered.
I should do that before I forget.
View media item 1823274I'm still gonna miss Mr.Froggy....

I also finally ordered 00 capsules for dosing. I'm trying to cut even more sugar out of my diet and continue on with self improvement journey.
I eat lots and lots of cookies.

Nice choice! Sleek and modern grownup touch to what had been a more childlike environment. :)

Your feet thank you.

Of course you did...it's 2021!
I should do that before I forget.
Phone reminder...just like the alarm that goes off to remind you to top-dress the GF.

Hiya VG! I hope you're doing well! :hugs:

My new humidifier came today.
Does the unit need to be turned on after the power goes off, or does it automatically restart? I'm thinking about my setup which needs it to turn on as my RH controller tells it to.

And how many square feet is it supposed to cover-ish?

Both of mine need restarting after power outages. It's a real drag when, like 2 days ago it went off something like 5 times over the day.

Highya Shed.
Forgive me for being absent. I've been busy gardening and catching up on some rest.
I did yard work for about 10 hours yesterday and then went to bed early. I slept for around 18 hours. I was up for a little bit here and there but just for whiz breaks for me and the pup.
I'm still yawning...
8 times while writing this so far.

RIP Mr Froggy.
 :passitleft:
Cool new rig V! Gotta have a remote! :hookah:
I guess so. :laughtwo:

Oh my stars!
I've missed you.:hugs:

I haven't had the opportunity to test out the options on it yet. I'll plug it into my light timer and see if it comes back on after lights out. I've just been turing it off during lights off.
I'll report tomorrow or the next day on my findings.

Hey Fudo

Good to see you once again.
I had to go back and look.
It says up to 750 sq. ft. on the TBI site.

That is a real annoyance.
Storm related ?
I'll have info for y'all soon.

In other news...

I finally transplanted the GDP XX.

Se has a few faded lowers. She was in her 2 gallon for too long.
She'll be fine.
