sorry to hear about the dog - i second the cbd. a friend gives it to his shepherds all the time. we make our own.
avoid anything thc. dogs have a more extensive and sensitive endocannabinoid system than humans. i grow a lot of mild 1:1 strains and i would not give cbd oil from that to a dog. i would only use oil from strains with 1% or less thc content.

I have some hemp seeds coming. .3%THC and 19% CBD I believe...

ocular triggered migraines can be prevented or lessened to a very large degree with cannabis. i can't speak to other forms of migraine however.

with ocular migraines it tends to help if you simply microdose a little each day. usually smoked, seems to be the method targeting the area best. you do not need to be truly stoned to get the desired effect.

i have optic nerve necrosis - i am 1/3 blind in one eye and the condition onset came with severe ocular migraines.

I have macular degeneration on my fathers side of the family. I'll be dosing to relieve ocular pressure. For now I'm just photo sensitive. I start sneezing uncontrollably and then I get headaches.
I do this.... it helps.

We make regular ol' peanut butter cookies for our dogs with CBD infused oil.
One of our older dogs will get "the chatters" in his jaw... like micro seizures that make him chatter....

If he's taking his cookies daily, he can go months without an episode.

Definitely a calming effect on my dogs.

Should be easy to adapt the recipe for my pumpkin cookies. He's nuts for them.

Gardens are looking great! Sorry to hear about your puppers! I’ve been looking into it for my puppers too (one with epilepsy and one who is chronically anxious both were rescues).

I have rescued my fair share of dogs. Rescues are fantastic. I have fostered a few and found it very rewarding to train older dogs so they are adoptable. It can be hard to let them go. I may start doing it again in my later years , after my little terrier is gone.

They gave him a pain/ fever reducer and some antibiotics. If he doesn't improve we are taking him back in 24 hrs.
He seems a little more spry this afternoon but he's refusing his favorite foods and he is usually extremely food motivated.

Me too. Like I said. I may or may not have some Mazar. I should have 5 seeds picked at random taken from Balkh, Kunduz, Badakstan and Mazari landrace stock. Just looking for something a little different really.

It's apparently a Californian-Pakistani 1980's heirloom indica created by Tom Hill. This is a Spanish continuation of the strain. DNA used to have it but have since discontinued it
